A device state recording system includes a ground system and an on-board system. The device state recording system records a state quantity of a device in the on-board system in response to an instruction from the ground system. The on-board system includes a state recording device provided in the device. A device-side parameter setter sets at least a parameter related to generation of a trigger condition for instructing start of recording of the state quantity of the device, and a parameter related to the state quantity of the device. A state record storage records therein a state quantity of a device that records the state quantity of the device based on the parameter related to generation of the trigger condition and the parameter related to the state quantity of the device.

Device state recording system and device state recording device

A controller of an embodiment includes a limiter receiving an active current command initial value, limiting a maximum value of the active current command initial value with a predetermined value, and outputting a first value; a circuit to calculate a reactive current command initial value; a calculator to calculate a reactive current command adjustment value; a unit receiving the first value as an input, and calculating a reactive current upper limit value such that a composite value of the first value and the reactive current upper limit value is equal to or smaller than an input current maximum value; and a limiter to output the reactive current command adjustment value or the reactive current upper limit value, whichever is smaller. The predetermined value is a value to set the reactive current upper limit value to a value larger than zero and smaller than the input current maximum value.

Power conversion controller

A circuit system for a railroad vehicle according to an embodiment includes a power conversion unit, a first converter, a second converter, a power storage unit, and a control unit. The power conversion unit converts power supplied from an overhead wire into power for driving a motor for running mounted on a railroad vehicle. The first converter converts power supplied from the overhead wire into DC power. The second converter converts power output from the first converter into power for driving a load mounted on the railroad vehicle. The power storage unit is electrically connected to an input side of the second converter. The control unit inputs regenerative power output from the power conversion unit to the first converter and inputs power output from the first converter to the power storage unit in a case where it is determined that the railroad vehicle is being regenerated.

Circuit system for railroad vehicle

A device according to an embodiment including a command generator that generates a current command value; a detector that detects a current value to be outputted from an inverter to an motor; a generator that generates a gate command to the inverter, and obtains an output voltage target vector of the inverter based on the gate command; an estimator that obtains a rotary phase angle estimated value of the motor based on the detected current value and the output voltage target vector; and a polarity determination part that, with supply of a current in synchronism with a rotor frequency of the motor, performs determination of a magnet magnetic pole using a generated magnetic flux or voltage in synchronism with the generated rotor frequency or both of them, and outputs a correction value for the rotary phase angle estimated value based on a result of the determination.

Inverter control device and drive system

A drive system of an embodiment includes an inverter for driving an electric motor; a detector that detects an electric current value output from the inverter; command generators that generate an electric current command value corresponding to an electric current to be supplied to the electric motor and a gate command of the inverter so that the electric current command value matches the electric current value; calculators that calculate an voltage target vector of the inverter and a rotation phase estimation value of the electric motor based on the electric current value and the voltage target vector, in an initial estimation of when activating the inverter. The electric current command value in the initial estimation is a value to supply an electric current for magnetically saturating a rotor of the electric motor, and a dynamic inductance of the electric motor used for calculating the rotation phase estimation value is a value of when the rotor of the electric motor is magnetically saturated.

Drive system and inverter

An inverter controller according to an embodiment has an inverter main circuit, current detectors, a current command value calculator, a voltage command value calculator and an estimator. The inverter main circuit is capable of being electrically connected to a rotary drive target. The current detectors detect current values output from the inverter main circuit. The current command value calculator calculates current command values with which an output voltage output from the inverter main circuit becomes equal to or more than a target value. The voltage command value calculator calculates voltage command values with which the current values become equal to the current command values. The estimator calculates an estimated rotational phase angle of the rotary drive target, based on the voltage command values and the current values.

Inverter controller and motor driving system

A synchronous reluctance rotating electric machine of an embodiment has a rotor iron core provided with a plurality of air gap layers, and a stator. The rotor iron core has a plurality of band-shaped magnetic path layers, and at least one or more bridges that bridge across each of the air gaps adjacent to each other among the plurality of air gap layers. The bridges of the air gaps adjacent to each other are disposed on different straight lines.

Synchronous reluctance rotating electric machine

A power conversion device includes a carrier generating unit, a setting unit, a PWM signal generating unit, and a power conversion unit. The carrier generating unit generates a carrier of a particular set carrier frequency during a certain continuation time. The setting unit sets the continuation time to be random and sets one carrier frequency among a plurality of mutually-different carrier frequencies as the set carrier frequency. The PWM signal generating unit generates a PWM signal based on the carrier generated by the carrier generating unit. The power conversion unit executes a power conversion based on the PWM signal and supplies converted power to a load.

Power conversion device having improved noise characteristics, and control method thereof

A synchronous reluctance motor includes: a rotor shaft; a rotor core fixed to the rotor shaft and on which a plurality of flux barriers are formed; a stator core on which a plurality of protruding stator teeth are formed; and multiphase armature windings of a plurality of poles wound around the plurality of stator teeth. The flux barriers include a plurality of first flux barriers formed to be spaced out in the circumferential direction from each other and extend in a radial direction, and a plurality of second flux barriers formed in each of circumferential angular regions sandwiched between the first flux barriers to form a curved surface convex toward the center of the rotation-axis and to spread and be spaced out in the circumferential direction from each other.

Synchronous reluctance motor and rotor for synchronous reluctance motor

A variable-flux motor drive system including a permanent-magnet motor including a permanent magnet, an inverter to drive the permanent-magnet motor, and a magnetize device to pass a magnetizing current for controlling flux of the permanent magnet. The permanent magnet is a variable magnet whose flux density is variable depending on a magnetizing current from the inverter. The magnetize device passes a magnetizing current that is over a magnetization saturation zone of magnetic material of the variable magnet. This system improves a flux repeatability of the variable magnet and a torque accuracy.

Variable-flux motor drive system

According to one embodiment, a rotor is configured by a rotor core and magnetic poles. Two or more types of permanent magnets are used such that each product of coercivity and thickness in the magnetization direction becomes different. A stator is located outside the rotor with air gap therebetween and configured by an armature core winding. At least one permanent magnet is magnetized by a magnetic field by a current of the armature winding to change a magnetic flux content thereof irreversibly. A short circuited coil is provided to surround a magnetic path portion of the other permanent magnet excluding the magnet changed irreversibly and a portion adjacent to the other permanent magnet where the magnetic flux leaks. A short-circuit current is generated in the short circuited coil by the magnetic flux generated by conducting a magnetization current to the winding. A magnetic field is generated by the short-circuit current.

Permanent magnet electric motor

A control system for controlling a synchronous motor having a magnet in a rotor includes an inverter configured to output an AC current for driving the motor, a gate command generating unit configured to generate a gate command for controlling the inverter, a current detecting unit configured to detect the AC current output by the inverter, a magnetic pole position estimating unit configured to estimate a magnetic pole position based on the AC current detected by the current detecting unit and generate an estimation signal, a current command generating unit configured to generate a current command and an estimation command for controlling the inverter to output an AC current with a predetermined level, and a magnetic polarity determination unit configured to determine the polarity of the magnet based on the estimation signal.

According to one embodiment, an electric vehicle control apparatus is provided with a converter having a diode and a switching device which convert an AC voltage or a DC voltage supplied from an input side into a DC voltage, whose output side is connected to a main motor through an inverter, a battery connected to the converter through a reactor, to provide a power source for the main motor, and a boosting chopper circuit composed the diode and the switching device which the converter has, so as to boost a voltage of the battery.
