Provided is a body reservoir assembly whose height can be reduced. In the body reservoir assembly, the reservoir comprises: a recessed portion formed on a bottom surface of the reservoir; and a reservoir side connecting portion formed in the recessed portion and connected to a cylinder portion.

Body reservoir assembly

Provided is a master cylinder apparatus with a reduced size enabled by simplifying the fluid passageway configuration. A master cylinder apparatus which includes a base member containing a fluid passageway for brake fluid and to which an operation of a brake operator is inputted is provided with: a master cylinder installed on the base member to generate a fluid pressure based on an input produced by operating the brake operator; and at least two solenoid valves attached to one side of the base member to open or close the fluid passageway. The two solenoid valves are disposed symmetrically with respect to a central axis along the axial direction of the master cylinder as viewed from a direction perpendicular to the one side of the base member.

Master cylinder apparatus

A stroke simulator and a bush for a stroke simulator are configured so that a bush provided to a stroke simulator can be attached without direction management. The stroke simulator generates brake reaction force by a simulator piston that is displaced within a cylinder by hydraulic pressure generated according to the operation of a brake pedal by a driver. A cylindrical rubber bush elastically deformed in an axial direction by pressure from the simulator piston to generate brake reaction force, the bush characterized in that a first end section on the simulator piston side and a second end section facing the first end section contain the same number, at least two, of concave sections concaved in the axial direction, and the concave section formed in the first end section and the concave section formed in the second end section are formed in different positions in the axial direction.

Stroke simulator and bush for stroke simulator

Disclosed is a braking device in which all multiple ports (for example, input ports () and output ports ()) provided on a front surface portion () of a base () of a master cylinder (), connector connection ports () of connectors () that electrically conducts an electrical part accommodated in a housing (), and a pipe connection port () to which a hose is connected of a reservoir () are arranged toward front of a vehicle when a starting device (A) is assembled in the vehicle.

Braking device

There is provided a vehicle brake system to which an electric brake actuator constituting the vehicle brake system is stably attached and in which it is possible to dispose the electric brake actuator in a power plant storage chamber in a space-efficient manner. A vehicle brake system configured by disposing, on a vehicle, an input device to which the brake operation of an operator is inputted and a motor cylinder device for generating brake fluid pressure by driving a hydraulic pressure controlling piston stored in a cylindrical cylinder main body by means of an electric motor at least in accordance with the brake operation, wherein the motor cylinder device is attached in a manner such that at least a portion of the cylinder main body overlaps with a power plant in the vehicle up and down direction; and the electric motor is disposed below the cylinder main body.

Vehicle brake system

Provided is a piston push rod assembly which can prevent discomfort from being imparted during the operation of a brake pedal by a driver. A piston push rod assembly, wherein: a second piston is provided with a piston slide section which is housed in a cylinder and which slides relative to the cylinder, and a connection tube section which is connected to a push rod; the piston slide section is covered by metal plating; the connection tube section has a non-plated section; and the second piston and the push rod are connected by the caulking of the connection tube section when the push rod has been inserted inside the connection tube section.

Provided is a stroke simulator capable of suppressing occurrence of inclination of a piston with respect to a sliding surface formed in a cylinder. The stroke simulator includes a simulator piston which is displaced by sliding on a sliding surface formed in a first cylinder, and a first return spring which is housed in the first cylinder and applies, to the simulator piston, a reaction force which is generated by an elastic deformation of the spring under a pressing force due to a displacement of the simulator piston, and generates the reaction force which is applied to the simulator piston as a brake reaction force for a brake operating element. The stroke simulator is characterized in that a cup seal for sealing a gap formed between the sliding surface and the simulator piston is mounted in the middle in the axial direction of the sliding surface.

Stroke simulator

A cylinder device includes a regulation mechanism that regulates separation distance between a front piston and a rear piston. A spring seat member of the regulation mechanism includes a spring reception part that projects toward a retainer side to receive a rear end of a spring, a cup seal holding part that projects on an opposite side from the retainer to hold a cup seal arranged on the rear piston, and a projection part that projects on the opposite side from the retainer. The projection part becomes abuttable on the retainer by a stroke of the rear piston if the spring reception part and the cup seal holding part are installed reversely-oriented on the rear piston.

Cylinder device and vehicle brake system

Provided is a stroke simulator in which the piston operates smoothly without being inhibited from displacement thereof by the negative pressure generated in the closed space, even if the piston is configured to be displaced so as to close the space in which the elastic member is housed, and to elastically deform the elastic member. A stroke simulator, in which a simulator piston presses a first return spring, which is housed in a bottomed cylindrical portion, from an opening portion side of the cylindrical portion, to cause the first return spring to be elastically deformed, and to generate a brake reaction force. When the opening portion is closed by the simulator piston, a brake fluid filled in the cylinder portion is taken into the inside of the cylindrical portion via a flow path leading to the inside of the cylindrical portion from a second cylinder.

An input device of a vehicle brake system which is downsized and has an improved general versatility in comparison with conventional vehicle brake systems is provided. An input deviceincludes: a master cylinderthat produces a fluid pressure in accordance with an input of an operation of a brake operating member; and a stroke simulatorwhich is provided side by side with the master cylinderand which applies in a pseudo manner a force counteracting the operation of the brake operating memberto the brake operating member. The master cylinderand the stroke simulatorare formed integrally.

Input device of vehicle brake system

Untreated bosses are formed in advance in two directions on a cylinder mechanism. The bosses on one side are formed as mounts to attach a motor cylinder device to a vehicle body, and the other bosses are formed as ports to connect to the cylinder mechanism. The mount bosses are formed on the outside in the width direction of the vehicle, and the port bosses are formed on the inside in the width direction of the vehicle.

Vehicle-body attachment structure for electric brake actuator

An electric brake device includes a first slave piston which is housed in a cylinder body and generates hydraulic pressure in a first hydraulic chamber by moving forward, a motor which transmits a driving force to the first slave piston, and a restriction pin which is inserted and secured to the cylinder body in a direction perpendicular to an axial direction of the cylinder body and restricts a backward position of the first slave piston when a hydraulic pressure is applied from an outside to the first hydraulic chamber, wherein the restriction pin is inserted and secured to the cylinder mechanism in the direction perpendicular to the axial direction of the cylinder main body. Further, a clearance is formed between an inner peripheral wall of the cylinder body and a first groove portion and second groove portion which are formed on an outer surface of the restriction pin.

Electric brake device

A cylinder device, which is provided with: a substrate having a cylinder hole and a reservoir union port; a piston which is inserted into the cylinder hole; a regulation member which regulates the rearward limit of the piston; a reservoir having a liquid supply part; and a seal member which is for the reservoir and which is externally fitted to the liquid supply part. Therein: the substrate comprises a mounting hole and a first communication hole which open to the reservoir union port and the cylinder hole; the regulation member is inserted into the mounting hole (); and the liquid supply part has a cut-out section and a tip section arranged so as to face the regulation member. This structure enables the number of components to be reduced, reduces the size of the substrate, and also prevents air from collecting inside the reservoir union port.

Cylinder device

An electric brake actuator provided with a main reservoir attached to a vehicle frame, a first reservoir attached to an input device and coupled to the main reservoir via a pipe, and a second reservoir coupled to the main reservoir via another pipe and directly mounted to a motor cylinder, wherein the second reservoir is disposed below the main reservoir in the vertical up and down direction.

Electric brake actuator, and vehicle brake system

A lid member has an external shape inscribing a quadrilateral formed by two sets of two facing sides, and has: a pair of first cut-out sections configured by cutting out, in the same size, a pair of diagonal corners from among the two sets of diagonal corners of the quadrilateral; and a pair of second cut-out sections configured by cutting out the other diagonal corners in the same size. The outer shape of the lid member is formed in a point-symmetric shape relative to the center of an opening in a peripheral wall section. The first cut-out sections have a larger surface area than the second cut-out sections, and one out of the pair of first cut-out sections is configured so as to be arranged in the vehicle progression direction and at the bottom in the vertical direction, when a base body is mounted to a vehicle.
