A centrifugal compressor () that includes: an auxiliary bearing () which supports a shaft (), which is supported by a magnetic bearing (), when the shaft () is displaced from a reference position; and a stopper () that is provided only for a first auxiliary bearing () among the first auxiliary bearing () and a second auxiliary bearing (), that is fixed to the shaft (), and that restricts a movement of the shaft () in both directions in an axial direction by the stopper () being brought into contact with the first auxiliary bearing ().

Provided is a turbocompressor () having a drive part () generating rotational power, an impeller () to which the rotational power of the drive part () is transmitted to rotate, a plurality of gears () transmitting the rotational power of the drive part () to the impeller (), and a drive part casing () in which the drive part () is installed. This turbocompressor () includes an impeller casing () installed around the impeller (), and a gear casing () configured to be formed independently of the impeller casing () and the drive part casing (), to couple the impeller casing () and the drive part casing (), and to form an accommodation space () in which the plurality of gears () are accommodated. With this configuration, in manufacturing the turbocompressor, a working process can be simplified and working labor and cost can be reduced.

Provided is a casing structure including: an annular seal member which is disposed at a connection portion between first and second casings to keep air-tightness between an internal space formed by connecting the first and second casings to each other and an outside of the internal space; a first screw member which is threaded from the internal space, is disposed at the inside of the seal member in the radial direction, and fastens the first and second casings to each other; and a second screw member which is threaded from the outside, is disposed at the outside of the seal member in the radial direction, and fastens the first and second casings to each other.

The regulating portion is formed as a recessed portion recessed from an end surface of the other end portion of the rotation shaft.

A turbo compressor includes a first impeller and a second impeller, which are spaced apart at a predetermined distance from each other in a direction of an axis and are fixed such that their backs face each other, in a rotation shaft which is rotatably supported around the axis. Two angular contact ball bearings are provided between the first impeller and the second impeller to rotatably support the rotation shaft around the axis. The two angular contact ball bearings are combined such that their fronts face each other. According to this turbo compressor, robustness can be improved against the inclination of the rotation shaft, any damage of the bearings can be prevented, and the lifespan thereof can be extended.

A first compression stage and a second compression stage being arranged at positions adjacent to each other. The first centrifugal impeller and the second centrifugal impeller are arranged in such an orientation that back sides of the first centrifugal impeller and the second centrifugal impeller face to each other. A connection flow path is formed in the first housing and the second housing for introducing the compressed fluid from the first compression stage into the second compression stage.
