A method for manufacturing a heat exchanger includes: assembling a plurality of heat exchanger components in an assembly step; and forming a film on surfaces of the heat exchanger components using a chemical vapor deposition method in a film formation step after the assembly step. The film can restrict a formation of a through hole due to corrosion. The film can be restricted from being damaged at a delivery or assembling time, because the film formation step is provided after the assembly step. An occurrence of clogging can be restricted at a minute portion inside of the heat exchanger in the film formation step, because the film is formed using the chemical vapor deposition method.

Method for manufacturing heat exchanger, and heat exchanger

A heat exchanger includes an evaporation side heat pipe in which a working fluid flowing therein is heat exchanged with a high-temperature fluid to be evaporated, a condensation side heat pipe in which the working fluid flowing therein is heat exchanged with a low-temperature fluid to be condensed, and an inner fin located at least in the evaporation side heat pipe to increase a heat transmission area of the evaporation side heat pipe with the working fluid. The evaporation side heat pipe and the condensation side heat pipe are connected to form a closed cycle, and the evaporation side heat pipe is arranged such that the working fluid flows in the evaporation side heat pipe in a direction different from a horizontal direction. Furthermore, the inner fin has a bottom end that is positioned above a top surface of the working fluid at least in a liquid state.

Heat exchanger with heat pipe

A carrier () is secured to a vehicle front end portion via a bracket () secured to side members () and a bumper reinforcement (). The connecting portions of the carrier () to the bracket () are deviated from the side members () when viewed from the front side of a vehicle. The bracket () is provided with a reinforcing member portion () to connect the left and right side members (). Accordingly, the action of a large impact force on the carrier () can be prevented because only a collision force from the bumper reinforcement () acts on the carrier () and no reaction force, from the side members, acts on the carrier, when a collision occurs. Therefore, the carrier () can be prevented from being broken when a light collision occurs because the attaching portions of the carrier () are seldom broken. The rigidity of a vehicle body can be increased by the reinforcing member portion (), and the necessary rigidity of the carrier () can be reduced. Thus, the weight of the carrier () can be reduced.

Front end structure and headlamp system of automotive vehicle

When a load given to the engine is less than a predetermined value, the outside air suction port is closed and only inside air is supplied to the engine , and the valve is opened so as to supply warm water to the heater . When the load given to the engine is not less than the predetermined value and the temperature of air outside the engine compartment is lower than a predetermined value, the inside air suction port is closed and only outside air is supplied to the engine , and the valve is closed so that the supply of warm water to the heater is stopped.

Internal combustion engine device

A cooling device has a radiator plate and a corrugated fin for cooling an electrical component. In a manufacturing process of the cooling device, a symmetrically constructed tool section presses the radiator plate and the fin against an anvil. The radiator plate has an attaching portion where an electrical component is attached. Knurled surface for preventing a slide is formed on the tool section only at a surrounding area to prevent a deformation of the attaching portion. The tool section and the radiator plate vibrate ultrasonically in a longitudinal direction of corrugations of the fin to prevent a crack on the fin.

Ultrasonically joining apparatus and ultrasonically joining method

A blower for flowing cooling air toward a corrugated fin is disposed to face the corrugated fin. The blower is covered with a blower case. Leg portions are integrally formed with and protrude from the blower case to face the corrugated fin at both sides in a corrugated direction of the corrugated fin. The blower case is fixed to a radiation plate by elastic deformation of the leg portions. The leg portions cover the both sides in the corrugated direction of the corrugated fin, so that the corrugated fin is protected from external force.

Cooling device with support members facing fin

A square substrate is divided into four substrate areas with reference lines respectively passing through a central point of the substrate in parallel with one of diagonals of the substrate. A fin disposed between the substrate and an axial fan has plural louvers each facing one of the substrate areas and extending in a direction parallel to a corresponding reference line of the one of the substrate areas. Accordingly, when air is blown out from the axial fan toward the substrate, an air flow direction can be changed by the louvers so that the air radially flows out from the central point of the substrate. As a result, a heat spot is not produced on the substrate.
