A multifunctional environmental sensor device is connectable to a terminal of an electronic device for use. The sensor device includes a substrate, a plurality of different types of components mounted on the substrate and including at least a light emitter and an illuminance sensor, and a wiring pattern located on a surface of the substrate and including a contact to be in contact with the terminal of the electronic device. The light emitter is mounted on a surface of the substrate opposite to a surface of the substrate on which the illuminance sensor is mounted.

Multifunctional environmental sensor device

An environment sensor includes a heat generation component, a first sensor and a second sensor disposed such that conductive heat resistances between the first sensor and the heat generation component and between the second sensor and the heat generation component are different from each other, and a controller. The first sensor and the second sensor are capable of measuring a predetermined physical quantity. The first sensor and the second sensor obtain a measured value from the predetermined physical quantity. The measured value fluctuates depending on ambient temperature. The controller is configured to correct the measurement value of one of the first sensor and the second sensor based on the measurement value of the first sensor and the measurement value of the second sensor when the predetermined physical quantity is measured.

Environment sensor

A sensor device includes a housing and a sensor component mounted in the housing. The housing has two or more vents. The sensor component is located on a path connecting two of the vents. The sensor component may include a temperature sensor, a humidity sensor, or a microphone. The sensor component may be located on a path connecting two vents in substantially facing surfaces of the housing.

An environmental sensor including a plurality of sensor elements that measure a plurality of physical quantities associated with a surrounding environment detects moving of an environmental sensor based on an illuminance and a change in the illuminance among the plurality of physical quantities, and transmits an alert signal to a user when the moving of the environmental sensor is detected.

An environmental sensor including sensor elements to measure multiple physical quantities associated with a surrounding environment, and includes a state determination unit that determines whether the environmental sensor is in a first state in which the sensor is fixed at a predetermined installation location or in a second state in which the sensor is away from an installation location, and an operation switch unit that switches an operation of each sensor element that measures the physical quantities based on whether a state determined by the determination unit is the first state or the second state.
