There are provided a liquid accommodating container that has a sufficient volume for reserving waste ink and can accommodate therein a sufficient amount of ink used in printing with space-saving, a liquid ejecting device provided therewith and a liquid introducing method. Therefore non-print ink is discharged and reserved in a portion, in which unused ink for printing was reserved, in an ink tank for replacement of the unused ink.

A liquid ejection head is capable of ejecting a liquid through an ejection port, the liquid being supplied from a liquid container with a negative pressure generating section. The liquid ejection head comprises a liquid chamber configured to contain the liquid, a liquid supply section configured to allow the liquid to be supplied from the liquid container to the liquid chamber, and an opening configured to communicate with the liquid chamber and to enable the liquid and/or a gas to flow into the liquid chamber through the opening.

An ejection port face where an ejection port of the printing head is located is formed so that the normal line thereof intersects with an axis line of a nozzle at a predetermined angle. The ejection port face inclines in a relative moving direction of the printing head with a printing medium as a reference.

Disclosed is an inkjet printing head which ejects ink in response to generation a bubble in the ink accompanying the action of heat from a heater, and which preferably allows ejection energy to be effectively used, and desired attachment accuracy of a movable valve to be secured and maintained. To this end, employed is a two-body structure formed of a substrate including the heater; and a valve retaining member having the movable valve. Then, the effective use of ejection energy is achieved by appropriately selecting the shape and dimensions of the movable valve. Furthermore, the desired attachment accuracy is secured and maintained by attaching the valve retaining member to the substrate by applying a photolithography process without using an adhesive agent.

Inkjet printing head and method of manufacturing the same

Ink is smoothly supplied so as to increase ink ejection speed to achieve high-speed printing. Thus, a filter is used to partition an ink storing chamber into a first and second storing chambers. Ink stored in the first storing chamber is supplied to a common liquid chamber in an ejection element. Ink introduced into the second ink storing chamber through a joint is supplied to the first storing chamber through the filter. An ink storing chamber member is joined to an ink storing chamber cover member to form the first and second ink storing chambers partitioned by the filter.

The present invention is intended to alleviate stresses that occur in a bonding surface between the heater substrate and the base plate due to effects of heat history in the ink jet print head manufacturing process and to heat produced during the printing operation. To this end, the present invention provides an ink jet print head comprising: a heater substrate formed with heaters to generate thermal energy for ejecting ink; and a base plate mounted to that part of a surface of the heater substrate in which the heaters are not formed; wherein a plurality of slits each of which extends in a direction perpendicular to a direction of an array of the heaters formed in the heater substrate are formed in a heater substrate mounting surface of the base plate at predetermined intervals in a direction of an array of the heaters.

Disclosed is a liquid ejection head capable of performing a stable ejection operation at high speed even when thermal expansion of a valve supporting member occurs during liquid ejection. This is because the liquid ejection head allows the thermal expansion to influence supported valves only to a small extent, and a highly accurate and stable adhesion state to be obtained. To this end, first holes, second holes and slits are provided in the valve supporting member.

An object of the present invention is to provide an ink tank package that allows an ink tank to be unloaded and unsealed without a user's worrying about spattering of the ink. The ink tank package according to the present invention includes an ink tank and a package. The package includes a container containing therein the ink tank and a lid. The lid includes a first unsealing portion and a second unsealing portion that are mutually bendably connected. Part of a sealing member for sealing an opening in the ink tank is coupled to the first unsealing portion.
