A package-type flow sensor includes a flow sensor chip having a sensor part configured to detect a flow of fluid, a package including a flat board part, forming an accommodating chamber configured to accommodate the flow sensor chip, and a connection terminal, provided on an outer surface of the board part, and connected to an external board. Further, in this package-type flow sensor, the board part is provided with a first vent hole communicating to inside and outside of the accommodating chamber, the package is provided with a second vent hole communicating to the inside and the outside of the accommodating chamber, at a position different from the board part, and the flow sensor chip is disposed on a flow passage of the fluid formed by the first vent hole and the second vent hole.

A seismic sensor may include a simple earthquake detection mode in which measured acceleration data is not saved, and which mode is continued in a case in which the measured acceleration is equal to or less than a predetermined first threshold value. The flow rate measuring apparatus according to one aspect of the present invention is a flow rate measuring apparatus that intermittently measures the flow rate of a fluid, comprising a heating unit for heating the fluid; a control unit that controls a drive voltage for driving the heating unit, or the interval at which the drive voltage is applied, to the desired value; a temperature sensing unit that senses information about the temperature of the heated fluid; and a flow rate measurement unit that measures the flow rate of the fluid on the basis of the sensing signal outputted from the temperature sensing unit, wherein, in intermittently measuring the flow rate, the control unit varies the heating amount of the heating unit in each measurement by varying the interval at which the drive voltage is applied.

The flow rate measurement device according to one aspect of the present invention comprises a heating unit for heating a fluid; temperature sensing units that are provided flanking the heating unit in the direction of fluid flow, and that sense the temperature of the heated fluid; a flow rate calculation unit that calculates the flow rate of the fluid on the basis of a sensing signals outputted from the temperature sensing units; angle calculation unit for calculating the tilt angle of the temperature sensing units with respect to a specific reference plane; a storage unit that stores the relation between the flow rate, the tilt angle, and a flow rate correction value; and a flow rate correction unit that corrects the flow rate by using the flow rate correction value stored in the storage unit.

A flow measurement device includes a flow sensor that senses a flow rate of a measurement target fluid flowing through a main channel, a characteristic-value obtaining unit that includes a heater heating the target fluid and a temperature sensor sensing a temperature of the target fluid, and obtains a characteristic value of the target fluid, and a flow rate correction unit that corrects a flow rate of the target fluid calculated based on a sensing signal from the flow sensor using the characteristic value of the target fluid obtained by the characteristic-value obtaining unit. The heater and the temperature sensor are arranged parallel to each other in a direction orthogonal to a flow direction of the target fluid. The characteristic-value obtaining unit obtains the characteristic value based on a difference between the temperatures of the target fluid sensed by the temperature sensor before and after the heater temperature is changed.

The disclosed flow measurement structure used in a flow measurement device is provided with a conduit through which gas to be measured flows, and a diverter which diverts gas flowing through the conduit and conducts the diverted gas to a detection element for measuring the flow amount of said gas. An inlet of the diverter is provided in the periphery of the conduit. The conduit is provided with an inclined section which, provided upstream of the inlet, guides the gas towards the center of the conduit.

The wall surface of the main flow channel is configured by a wall surface excluding the area for which the holding member containing portion is formed out of the main flow channel and an inner surface of the orifice holding member.
