A satellite positioning signal receiving device that performs positioning using satellite observation information in a plurality of frequency bands enables gradual addition in accordance with a required number of frequency bands. The satellite positioning signal receiving device includes at least one satellite positioning signal receiving circuit that supports a single frequency band, receives a satellite positioning signal, and generates satellite observation information. Each of the satellite positioning signal receiving circuits includes a synchronization control interface that synchronizes the satellite positioning signal receiving circuits with each other, and a satellite information transmission interface that shares the satellite observation information between the satellite positioning signal receiving circuits. The satellite positioning signal receiving device performs positioning on the basis of satellite observation information.

A Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) enabled device includes an inertial sensor and receiver circuitry to track a position of the GNSS enabled device. The receiver circuitry selects a mode of a GNSS technology based on power available at the GNSS enabled device and a positioning error value associated with the mode of the GNSS technology. The positioning error value associated with the selected mode is less than a specified accuracy threshold. The receiver circuitry calibrates the inertial sensor based on the selected mode of the GNSS technology to track the position of the GNSS enabled device to reduce the overall power consumption at the GNSS enabled device.

A system and method are provided for collaborative positioning of wireless nodes using pairwise range measurements and positioning technology type. The system includes a plurality of wireless nodes communicatively coupled to each other via a wireless network. The plurality of wireless nodes include a first wireless node that estimates a plurality of pairwise range estimates between the first wireless node and each neighboring wireless node of a set of neighboring wireless nodes. The first wireless node receives the current position estimate and the positioning technology type of each neighboring wireless node and assigns a weight value to each neighboring wireless node based on the positioning technology type. The first wireless node computes an initial position estimate for the first wireless node based on the assigned weight value, the current position estimate, and a pairwise range estimate and determines a final position estimate for the first wireless node.

In this way, the RTC uses continuous time information before and after the stop. The present disclosure relates to a receiving device and a receiving method that can receive both signals of a GNSS signal and a wireless LAN at lower cost and more compactly. A selecting unit selects either a received GNSS signal or wireless LAN signal. By multiplying the signal selected in the selecting unit by a local oscillation signal generated in a local oscillation circuit, a converting unit converts the selected signal into an IF signal with lower intermediate frequency. A control unit controls the selecting unit, and performs control so that the GNSS signal and the wireless LAN signal are processed in a time-sharing manner in the converting unit. The technology of the present disclosure can be applied to a receiving device that receives a signal from a GPS satellite, for example.
