A flat light source apparatus has a light source board which comprises unit boards, each unit board having a printed circuit board and a light source formed on the printed circuit board, wherein the unit boards are arranged adjacent to each other at least in one direction, and any pair of the unit boards adjacent to each other is integrated by a connecting portion provided therebetween. The apparatus also has a main wire which extends along a plane of the light source board, wherein the main wire extends between adjacent unit boards via the connecting portion such that all of the unit boards are electrically connected to each other by the main wire. The apparatus further has a branch wire for supplying electric power to the light source, the branch wire being provided in each unit board and branching from the main wire in each unit board.

Flat light source apparatus with separable unit boards

In a ceiling fan having a blade surface light, an annular blade surface light including a plurality of LEDs that are light emitters that are continuously placed is secured on a circumference that connects sides near tips of a plurality of rotary blades of the ceiling fan, and the light emitters are lit by a lighting controller only when they are in a predetermined range on a rotation reference circumference. LED devices housing the LEDs that are the light emitters and that are provided with cooling fins are housed in an annular LED case, and the LED case is secured to the rotary blades. Thus, the LEDs radiate heat from the cooling fins provided in the LED devices by rotation of the rotary blades, and they are intermittently lit and extinguished to prevent a temperature increase. The LEDs only in the predetermined range are lit, thereby preventing any uncomfortable feeling when LEDs are caused to flash.

Ceiling fan with rotary blade surface light

A light emitting device includes a light emitting element (LEE) on a mounting board, a metal reflector surrounding the side surfaces of the LEE on the mounting board, a conductor electrically connecting the LEE with the mounting board, and a sealing resin fitted within the reflector to cover and seal the LEE and the conductor. The mounting board includes a metal baseboard, and an insulating board laminated on the base board with a window hole larger than the outer periphery of the LEE. A mount for the LEE is on the base board within the window hole with a clearance defined from window hole side surfaces. The conductor straddles the clearance, and electrically connects the wiring pattern on the insulating board with the LEE and mount. Part of the clearance associated with the area that projects from the conductor to the mounting board is narrower than the remainder.

Light emitting device

The present invention provides a light emitting device which comprises a light emitting element, a mounting board on which the light emitting element is mounted, a metal-made reflector surrounding the side surfaces of the light emitting element on the mounting board, a conductor for electrically connecting the light emitting element with the mounting board, and a sealing resin fitted within the reflector to cover and seal the light emitting element and the conductor. The mounting board includes a metal-made base board, and an insulating board laminated on the base board and formed with a window hole extending therethrough which is larger than the outer periphery of the light emitting element. A mount for carrying the light emitting element thereon is disposed on the base board within the window hole with a clearance defined from side surfaces of the window hole. The conductor straddles the clearance, and electrically connects the wiring pattern formed on the insulating board with the light emitting element and the mount. Then, part of the clearance associated with the area that projects from the conductor to the mounting board is narrower than the rest of the clearance.

A remote control transmitter is capable of controlling a plurality of light fittings without the need for a slidable switch. The remote control transmitter includes a memory for storing data representing a plurality of control signals for respective channels corresponding respectively to the light fittings, a measurer for calculating a period of time during which the operation button is pressed based on a detected event starting when the operation button is pressed and ending when the operation button is released, and outputting a signal representing the calculated period of time, a transmitter for outputting a control signal based on the data stored in the memory, and a controller for setting one of the channels based on the signal output from the measurer, and controlling the transmitter to output a control signal based on the data stored in the memory in association with the set channel.

Remote control transmitter which is capable of controlling a plurality of light fittings without the need for a slidable switch

A light-emitting device includes a ceramic package including a mounting space defined by a rectangular mounting surface and side walls erected from respective sides of the mounting surface, an electrode pad disposed on the mounting surface, a light-emitting element disposed on the electrode pad, and a molded synthetic resin filling the mounting space. The mounting surface includes corners that are not covered with said electrode pad so that a ceramic base of said ceramic package is exposed at said corners.
