A vehicle door latch device includes: a latch body including: a latch secured by a latch shaft on a rear surface side of the latch body, the latch being configured to engage with a striker; a ratchet secured by a ratchet shaft on the rear surface side of the latch body, the ratchet being configured to engage with the latch; and a striker advancing path into which the striker advances relatively; a motor configured to release the ratchet from the latch; and an actuator case provided continuously on top of the latch body, the actuator case being configured to accommodate the motor.

A vehicle door latch apparatus has latch mechanism, powered release means, manual release means and lock mechanism that is switched between a locked state and an unlocked state. Powered release means has cam wheel that is rotated in normal and in reverse rotational directions from a reference position by motor power. When cam wheel is rotated in the normal rotational direction from the reference position, latch mechanism is released while lock mechanism is held in the locked state When cam wheel is rotated in the reverse rotational direction from the reference position, cam wheel switches lock mechanism to the unlocked state. Cam wheel returns lock mechanism to the locked state when cam wheel is rotated in the normal rotational direction back to the reference position in the unlocked state.

Lock mechanism is provided between pawl lever and manual release mean. The present vehicle door latch apparatus includes ratchet member that engages latch and that can be released from latch by release component force F, latch restraint that prevents ratchet member from being disengaged from latch and powered release means that moves ratchet restraint. Ratchet member includes base lever and pawl lever. When ratchet restraint is moved, base lever is moved to a non-regulated position, where pawl lever can be disengaged from latch by release component force F. Manual release means is connected to pawl lever. Lock mechanism is provided between pawl lever and manual release means.

A motor vehicle door latch device that prevents a latch from being held in a half-latch position when a door opens and enables itself to be smaller. Door latch device

A door latch device which allows shared use of a connector for use in door latch devices equipped with standard electric components and a connector for use in door latch devices equipped with special electric components in addition to the standard electric components, thereby achieving an increase in the efficiency of the work of connecting to an external connector and a reduction in costs. A connector () of a standard switch plate () has a coupling hole () which penetrates, in the connecting direction of the external connector, a portion having no standard connecting terminals (). The coupling hole () can be fitted with another switch plate () that allows the passage of electric current through electric components different than the standard electric components.

A vehicle door latch device comprises an outside lever, a locking lever, a holding member, an opening link and a spring. The spring applies an urging force, smaller than an elastic holding force of the holding member in an unlocking direction, to the opening link. A coil is held in a holding recess of a rotation central portion of the opening link. The first arm engages with the outside lever, and the second arm engages with the opening link. If a panic state occurs, the locking lever can rotate to an unlock position, and the opening link returns to an initial position before a releasing action and is moved to the unlock position by the urging force of the spring.

A vehicle door latch device comprises a latch that can engage with a striker; a ratchet that engages with the latch to hold a door closed; a stationary stopper; a first lever pivotally mounted on a first shaft to rotate from an initial position in a releasing direction; a first spring that biases the first lever toward the initial position, a second lever supported to the first lever on a second shaft and rotating between an initial position where the second lever cannot contact the stationary stopper and a blocking position where the second lever can contact the stationary stopper and prevents the first lever from rotating in the releasing direction; and a second spring that biases the second lever toward the initial position with a force greater than a biasing force of the first spring.

There is provided an opening and closing apparatus for a fuel lid, including: a pushrod configured to shift between a locking posture and an unlocking posture and to reciprocate between a pushed-in position and a pushed-out position; a follower assembled to the pushrod so as to rotate relatively to the pushrod about the center line and to move together with the pushrod in the axial directions; and a case supporting the pushrod, the follower and a biasing member. The case includes a rod cam portion for rotating the pushrod and a follower cam portion for rotating the follower. The follower cam portion includes a plurality of follower securing portions for securing the follower so as to hold the pushrod in the pushed-in position against biasing force exerted by the biasing member.

Opening and closing apparatus

A door lock apparatus, at both sides of a region interposing a second link lever therebetween, includes a sector lever shaft and an inside lever shaft that extend in parallel with a swinging shaft of the second link lever. The door lock apparatus also includes an inside handle lever swingably arranged about the inside lever shaft, and when an inside door handle arranged inside a vehicle is open-operated while the second link lever is disposed in a cancel position, moves the second link lever upwards by swinging about the center of the inside lever shaft, and when the inside door handle is open-operated while the second link lever is disposed in a non-cancel position, swings the sector lever in a locked position to an unlocked position about the center of the sector lever shaft, by swinging about the center of the inside lever shaft.

Door lock apparatus

A vehicle door lock device includes a latching mechanism, a locking mechanism, and a child-lock mechanism. The child-lock mechanism is arranged between the latching mechanism and an inside door handle, and switches between a transmitting state and a non-transmitting state. The child-lock mechanism in the transmitting state transmits to the latching mechanism a force regarding an attempt to open a door by using the inside door handle, while the child-lock mechanism in the non-transmitting state does not transmit the force to the latching mechanism. When the latching mechanism receives the force, an inside-door handle lever causes the locking mechanism to switch to an unlocked state from a locked state. When the child-lock mechanism is in the transmitting state and the locking mechanism is in the locked state, a link lever and a panic lever operate the inside-door handle lever without transmitting the force to the latching mechanism.
