A curable composition includes organic polymer (A) having more than one reactive silicon group on average per molecule, represented by formula (1): &#x2014;SiRX(1), wherein Ris a substituted or unsubstituted hydrocarbon group having 1-20 carbon atoms, each X is independently a hydroxy group or a hydrolyzable group, and a is 0 or 1, and (meth)acrylate-based polymer (B) having a reactive silicon group represented by formula (2): &#x2014;SiX(2), wherein each X is as defined for the formula (1), polymer (B) has a reactive silicon group equivalent of not less than 0.30 mmol/g, and wherein a monomer (b1) is free of a reactive silicon group, a glass transition temperature of its homopolymer is not more than 80&#xb0; C., and is contained as monomer(s) constituting polymer (B) in a proportion of not less than 40 wt % per 100 wt % of total monomer.

An object of the present invention is to provide a curable composition that can be used as sealing materials, adhesives, and the like, has excellent curing properties, and gives a cured product excellent in elongation properties. The object can be attained by means of a curable composition comprising: a reactive silyl group-containing polyether polymer (A) that contains a reactive silyl group with high activity (e.g., (ClCH)(CHO)Si&#x2014;, (CHOCH)(CHO)Si&#x2014;, or CH(CHO)Si&#x2014;CH&#x2014;NH&#x2014;C(&#x2550;O)&#x2014;); and a reactive silyl group-containing polyether polymer (B) that contains a reactive silyl group (e.g., CH(CHO)Si&#x2014; or (CHO)Si&#x2014;) different from that mentioned above and/or a (meth)acrylic polymer (C) containing a reactive silyl group that is not particularly limited.

An object of the invention is to provide a curable organic polymer having superior curability, a method for producing the same, and a curable composition containing the same. Curable organic polymer and method for production thereof, and curable composition containing the same

An object of the present invention is to provide a curable composition made mainly of an organic polymer having a reactive silicon group, exhibits a good curability without using any organic tin compound substantially, and gives a cured product having a sufficient strength; and to provide a catalyst composition. The object is solved by a curable composition, comprising a polymer (A) having a silicon-containing group which can be crosslinked by forming a siloxane bond, and a fluoride salt compound (B).

An object of the present invention is to provide a curable composition which is made mainly of a polymer having one or more reactive silicon groups, has good curability even when filler is used while a non-organotin catalyst is used, and is further high in industrial practicability. Curable composition and method for improving recovery properties and creep properties

A moisture curable polymer and a curable composition having superior curability are provided. Provision of a curable composition having good curability and adhesiveness by the use of a non-organotin catalyst. A curable composition containing an organic polymer (A) having a silicon-containing group crosslinkable by forming a siloxane bond, metal carboxylate (B), a silane coupling agent (C) free of an amino group, and an amino group-containing compound (D) in an amount corresponding to a weight ratio relative to (B) of 0-0.05, which contains, as the silicon-containing group of component (A), a silicon-containing group, wherein three hydrolyzable groups or hydroxyl groups are bonded to a silicon atom, as an essential component.

The present invention has its object to provide, by using a non-organotin curing catalyst, a curable composition having a practical level of curability. Furthermore, the present invention has its object to provide a curable composition excellent in adhesiveness while it secures a practical level of curability. The present invention relates to a curable composition which comprises: (A) an organic polymer containing a silicon-containing group capable of crosslinking by siloxane bond formation and (B) a silanol condensation catalyst: and that the silanol condensation catalyst is an amine compound and that an aqueous solution prepared by adding 5 millimoles of the amine compound to 100 g of a mixed solvent composed of isopropyl alcohol and water in a weight ratio of 10:3 has a pH value of not lower than 13.4 as measured at 23&#xb0; C. according to JIS Z 8802.

The present invention provides a curable composition including: an organic polymer (A) which has on average 1.1 to 50 groups per one molecule thereof each represented by the general formula (1) and has one or more silicon-containing functional groups capable of cross-linking by forming siloxane bonds:&#x2014;NR&#x2014;C(&#x2550;O)&#x2014;&#x2003;&#x2003;(1)wherein Ris a hydrogen atom, or a substituted or unsubstituted monovalent organic group; and a metal carboxylate and/or a carboxylic acid (B), the curable composition giving a cured article excellent in curability and also excellent in heat resistance although a non-organotin catalyst is used.
