A pneumatic tire includes a longitudinal protrusion portion provided on at least one of tire side surfaces located on either side in a tire lateral direction, the longitudinal protrusion portion projecting from the tire side surface and extending along the tire side surface; and serration provided on the tire side surface in a region including an end portion of the longitudinal protrusion portion, the serration being formed of a plurality of small grooves arranged in parallel, and the plurality of small grooves being inclined with respect to a lateral centerline that passes through a center of the longitudinal protrusion portion in a width direction.

A pneumatic tire including a closed sipe in a land portion formed in a tread surface, provided with at least three cuts extending in a radiation direction from an imaginary axis that extends in a depth direction of the land portion, and that terminate in the land portion. A widened portion where a width of a cut is locally increased is formed at at least one position of an intermediate region from the imaginary axis to a terminating portion of the cuts.

A tire-wheel assembly having a wheel with a rim and a pneumatic tire mounted on the rim, the pneumatic tire having a cavity inside for charging air. The pneumatic tire has a cavity's resonant frequency Fc arising from the cavity, and the wheel has a plurality of natural frequencies. The difference between the cavity's resonant frequency Fc of the pneumatic tire and the natural frequency Fw of the wheel closest to the cavity's resonant frequency is 10 Hz or more.
