In a short range radio communication headset, signals transmitted by the short range radio communications are received while direct sounds propagated from an external are detected. Then, a digital signal adaptation processing using either received signals or the direct sounds as reference signals are applied, and a ratio between the received signals and the direct sounds is controlled by correlating the reference signals and another one of the received signals and the direct sounds that are not used as the reference signals and extracting necessary components.

Communication system using short range radio communication headset

An elevator cage with an ventilator which has supply system for supplying fresh air into the cage and exhaust system for exhausting air from the cage. An active noise controller is provided to at least the supply system to cancel noise which is caused by a supply fan provided in the supply system and changing air force between the cage and a path to guide the cage while the cage moves at high speed.

Ventilator for elevator cage

A noise cancellor includes a first sensor for detecting a noise generated from a driving device and converting the noise to electric signals. A signal processor receives the electric signals and forms control signals by multiplying the electric signals by a predetermined factor series. In response to the control signals, a speaker produces sound which interferes with the noise so as to cancel the noise at an object point. A second sensor detects sound at the object point and converts them to electric signals which are inputted to the signal processor. The signal processor switches the control mode, in accordance with a predetermined condition, to an adaptive active control wherein the factor series is changed in response to the electric signal applied from the second sensor or an active control wherein the factor series is fixed.
