A catcher () provided in a door frame H' for capturing a striker bodymoved from a near front side F when a door D&#x2032; is rotated toward a reference position; a braking device (); and a linkage device () for both are provided. The catcher () is provided to be reciprocatingly rotatable between a standby position and a rotated position, captures the striker body () at the standby position, and rotates forward to the rotated position. Braking of the braking device () is applied to a rotation toward the rotated position of the catcher () through the linkage gear member ().

Retracting mechanism and fixing structure

A withdrawing mechanism includes a striker disposed on one of a swingable member and a main body, a catcher disposed on the other of the swingable member and the main body to capture the striker moving, and a damper for applying a damping force to a turning operation of then catcher toward the turned position. The catcher is turnable between a standby position and a turned position. The catcher is biased towards the standby position when at a position closer to the standby position than an intermediate position between the standby position and the turned position and biased toward the turned position when at a position closer to the turned position than the intermediate position. The catcher includes a hooking groove for the striker on a surface extending substantially perpendicular to a rotary shaft thereof. The hooking groove faces an introduction port toward the front side in the standby position.

Withdrawing mechanism

A withdrawing mechanism includes a striker disposed on one of a swingable member and a main body, a catcher disposed on the other of the swingable member and the main body, and a damper for applying a damping force to a turning operation of the catcher toward a turned position. The catcher includes a casing, a rotational plate having a hooking groove for catching the striker therein, and a spring attached between an attaching portion of the rotational plate and a fixing portion of the casing to pull and rotate the rotational plate. When the rotation plate catches the striker, the rotational plate rotates in a direction to pull the spring, and when the attaching portion passes a position on a linear line extending the attaching portion, rotational center of the rotational plate and fixing portion, the rotational plate is pulled to move the rotational plate to the turned position.

There is disposed a damper, which provides a resistance to a retracting movement of a piston. A door opening leverhas a pressing partformed with a cam surface, which is configured so as to have a distance from a swingable shaftgradually increasing toward a cam end. The damperis configured so that a piston rodis fixed to a depth end of a housing, that a gapis formed between an outer wall of the cylinderand an inner wall of the housing, and that the cylinderhas a depth endconstantly brought into press-contact with the cam surfaceof the door opening leverunder a biasing action. When the door opening leveris not subjected to pulling operation, a portion of the cam surfaceclose to the cam endis brought into press-contact with the depth endof the cylinderto retract the pistoninto the cylinderat the maximum.

Door handle device

A withdrawing mechanism includes a catcherdisposed on a main body with a swingable member D swingably assembled thereto and configured to capture a strikermoving from a front side when the swingable member D is swung toward a reference position; and a load response type damper. The catcheris configured to be turnable forward and backward throughout between a standby position and a turned position and to capture the strikerin the standby position and turn forward up to the turned position. The damperis configured to apply a damping force to a turning operation of the catchertoward the turned position.

A shock absorbing device uses a damper including a cylinder enclosing a viscous fluid; a piston rod; and a piston dividing the interior of the cylinder in two axially separated parts. The piston is connected to the piston rod and has an orifice communicating the two parts. The piston includes an inner member integrally connected with the piston rod, and an outer member disposed about an outer perimeter of the inner member and configured to be axially movable with respect to the inner member. The inner and outer members are configured to define a gap therebetween through which the viscous fluid can flow, and to be biased away from each other by a spring disposed therebetween. The inner and outer members are arranged so that the gap is reduced as the amount that the inner member protrudes into the outer member increases, to thereby define a variable orifice.

Shock absorbing device for moving body

A damper includes a piston with an orifice communicating in an axial direction and dividing a cylinder into two portions in the axial direction, and provides a braking force by resistance of a viscous fluid passing through the orifice when the piston moves inside the cylinder. The piston includes an inner member and an outer member movable in the inner member in the axial direction, which are loosely fitted with a gap for passing the viscous fluid. The inner and outer members are elastically urged with a spring in a direction wherein the inner and outer members are spaced. As the inner member moves to the outer member faster, the gap becomes narrower.

Damper

A door handle system includes a door opening lever rotationally supported on a support member, and a damper having a linear piston sliding mechanism. The door opening lever has an angle change device for changing an angle when the door opening lever is actuated. The damper is attached to the support member and arranged to contact the angle change device so that a returning force of the door opening lever after being opened is reduced by the damper.
