A gas separation membrane module includes at least one hollow fiber membrane element and a casing. The hollow fiber membrane element includes hollow fiber membranes and a cylindrical body. The cylindrical body extends in a longitudinal direction of the hollow fiber membranes, and accommodates the hollow fiber membranes. The hollow fiber membrane element includes sweep gas introduction ports and mixed gas discharge ports. A first supply chamber, a first discharge chamber, a second supply chamber, and a second discharge chamber are positioned between the casing and the hollow fiber membrane element. The first supply chamber, the first discharge chamber, the second supply chamber, and the second discharge chamber are partitioned off from each other.

Gas separation membrane module

An air purifying system includes: a carbon dioxide remover including first and second spaces partitioned by a gas permeable membrane with 50 nm or less diameter micropores; a feed passage leading to-be-purified air from a room to the first space; a supply passage supplying clean gas having lower carbon dioxide and higher oxygen concentrations than the to-be-purified air to the second space; a discharge passage discharging, from the second space, mixed gas; a return passage leading purified air from the first space into the room, the purified air resulting from removing carbon dioxide from the to-be-purified air; and adjusting equipment adjusting a gas pressure in the first and second spaces to be substantially equal to each other. The to-be-purified air flows in the first space along a surface of the gas permeable membrane, and the clean gas flows in the second space along a surface of the gas permeable membrane.

Air purifying system

An air purifying system is a system for purifying air in a room, and the air purifying system includes: a carbon dioxide removing device including a first space and a second space that are divided from each other by a separation membrane that selectively allows carbon dioxide to permeate therethrough; a feed passage that leads the air in the room to the first space; a return passage that leads purified air from which carbon dioxide has been removed from the first space to the room; a supply passage that supplies sweep gas to the second space, the sweep gas having a carbon dioxide partial pressure that is lower than a carbon dioxide partial pressure in the air in the room; and a discharge passage that discharges the sweep gas from the second space after the sweep gas is mixed with the carbon dioxide that has permeated through the separation membrane.

A cooling medium supply/discharge device includes a cylindrical rotary casing which is rotatable with a rotary shaft of the rotor; a cylindrical stationary casing fixed such that the stationary casing extends inward relative to the rotary casing and coaxially with the rotary casing, the stationary and rotary casings being relatively rotatable; a first stationary cylindrical body which is inserted into the stationary casing such that the first stationary cylindrical body is not rotatable; a first rotary cylindrical body which is inserted into the first stationary cylindrical body with a gap such that the first rotary cylindrical body is rotatable together with the rotary shaft; a second stationary cylindrical body which is inserted into the first stationary cylindrical body such that the second stationary cylindrical body is not rotatable; and a second rotary cylindrical body which is inserted into the first rotary cylindrical body and rotatable together with the rotary shaft.

Cooling medium supply/discharge device and superconducting rotary machine including cooling medium supply/discharge device

A unit winding formed by bundling conductor strands in a first slot first sectional region from one end in a stator axial direction toward the other end is turned back so that positions of the insulating conductor strands are inverted in the axial direction. The unit winding is disposed into a second slot third sectional region from the other end in the axial direction toward the one side, and turned back so that the positions of the strands are inverted in a circumferential direction. Then, the turned back unit winding is disposed into the first slot second sectional region from the one end in the axial direction toward the other side, and turned back so that positions of the strands are inverted in the axial direction. The unit winding is disposed in the second slot fourth sectional region from the other end in the axial direction toward the one end.

A magnetic field generating device includes a superconducting coil formed by winding a superconductive wire material; an unseparated conductor plate which includes an electric conductor and is placed such that the conductor plate is insulated from the superconducting coil and is adjacent to the superconducting coil in a winding axis direction of the superconducting coil, and one of main surfaces of the conductor plate faces the superconducting coil; and a protection circuit which is connected in parallel with the superconducting coil and attenuates a current flowing through the superconducting coil.

Superconducting field poles each include a superconducting coil body formed by spirally winding a superconducting wire material, a ferromagnetic outer magnetic field-deflecting member arranged on an end face of the superconducting coil body at a radially outer side of a rotor, and a ferromagnetic inner magnetic field-deflecting member arranged on an end face of the superconducting coil body at a radially inner side of the rotor.

A field rotor of a superconducting rotating machine including: a rotation shaft; a supply shaft that supplies a refrigerant to the rotation shaft at one end of the rotation shaft; an input/output shaft provided at the other end of the rotation shaft so as to integrally rotate with the rotation shaft; and a superconducting coil held on a circumferential surface of the rotation shaft to be cooled by the refrigerant, wherein the supply shaft and the input/output shaft are fixed to each other so as to rotate integrally with each other, and the rotation shaft and the supply shaft are at least partly brought in contact with each other in order to allow the rotation shaft to be supported by the supply shaft and in order to be slidably fitted to each other in a circumferential direction of the rotation shaft and in an axial direction of the rotation shaft.

Provided is a cryogen supply and return apparatus and a superconducting rotating electric machine, comprising stationary and rotatable members arranged out of contact with each other, preventing an increase of maintenance cost or a temperature increase of the cryogen which would be caused by contacts of the members. A cylinderhas on its outer peripheral surface ring-like recesses or grooves regularly or irregularly spaced in the longitudinal direction or spiral recesses or grooves continuously or discontinuously extending in the peripheral direction, to resist helium gas flowing through a cylindrical space between the cylinderand the inner tubeof the second double tube member and, as a result, to control a leakage of the helium gas from the cylindrical space.

Cryogen supply and return device for use with cryogen rotating electric machine and superconducting rotating electric machine with cryogen supply and return device

A field rotor of a superconducting rotary machine, includes a rotary shaft, a plurality of coil boxes, and a plurality of superconducting coils. The coil boxes extend in a center axis direction of the rotary shaft, have walls defining spaces within the coil boxes, respectively, and are removably fastened to a peripheral surface of the rotary shaft. The superconducting coils are disposed in the spaces of the coil boxes, respectively, and constitute field windings of the superconducting rotary machine.

Provided are a rotor core, a method for cooling a rotor core, and a superconducting rotating machine, capable of effectively and uniformly cooling superconducting coils without causing cold brittleness in an extremely low temperature. The rotor core, which is made of a substantially hollow cylindrical member of nonmagnetic material, has a cylindrical cavitydefined therein and extending in the longitudinal axis of the member. Helium gasis delivered in the rotor corefrom the proximal to distal sides and vice versa, which ensures a uniform cooling of the rotor core. This also ensures a uniform and effective cooling of the superconducting coils.

The stator has a number of teeth disposed at a regular interval about a rotational axis of the rotor to define slots each between adjacent teeth and a plurality of windings, each winding having a strip-like wire member, the wire member having a plurality of rectangular cross-section wires in which said rectangular wires are arranged in parallel to each other and electrically insulated away from each other, the winding being constructed by winding the strip-like wire member a plurality of times to have first and second winding portions having a cross section in which the rectangular wires are positioned in matrix.
