A headrest level adjustment mechanism includes a main support that is provided on a side of a main headrest stay, and cooperates with the main headrest stay to provide a locking mechanism that adjusts a level of the headrest and locks the headrest at a predetermined level, and a sub support that is provided on a side of a sub headrest stay, and cooperates with the sub headrest stay to provide a movement restriction mechanism that restricts downward movement of the headrest and keeps the headrest at a lowest-level position, in a condition where the main headrest stay is engaged with the main support, and a gap is provided between the headrest and a seat back, the main headrest stay and the sub headrest stay being held by the seat back and hanging down from two positions of the headrest spaced from each other in a seat width direction.

Headrest level adjustment mechanism

A seat back configured to support a back of a seated person includes a back frame constituting an internal framework; and an elastic mat fitted to the back frame so as to cover the back frame from a front side, the elastic mat having a planar shape and being configured to elastically support the back of the seated person. The back frame includes a frame body and a support wire that protrudes forward from the frame body. The elastic mat includes a main support portion configured to support the back of the seated person, and a band portion that extends from a back surface of the main support portion, the band portion being wound around the support wire. The elastic mat has a through-hole through which a head at a distal end of the wound band portion is inserted such that the head is snap-fitted in the through-hole.

Seat back

A seat back configured to support a back of a seated person includes a back frame that constitutes an internal framework; and an elastic mat that is fitted to the back frame so as to cover the back frame from a front side, the elastic mat having a planar shape and being configured to elastically support the back of the seated person. The back frame includes a frame body and a support wire that protrudes forward from the frame body. The elastic mat includes a plurality of hooks provided on a back surface of a main support portion configured to support the back of the seated person, the hooks being engaged with the support wire to fix the elastic mat to the support wire.

A seat operation device having improved operability of both a height adjustment mechanism and an angle adjustment mechanism, and a seat. The vehicle seat () has a seat lifter () that is provided at a seat body for seating and is adjusted by operation force transmitted, a reclining mechanism () that is provided at the seat body and is adjusted by operation force transmitted, and an operation lever () that adjusts the seat lifter () and the reclining mechanism (). The operation lever () can take both a first predetermined position and a second predetermined position. At the first predetermined position, operation force by operation of a person seated can be transmitted to an operation load input section () of the seat lifter (). At the second predetermined position, operation force by operation of the person seated can be transmitted to a reclining release plate () of the reclining mechanism ().

Seat

A seat may be obtained with good operability of plural operating members for operating plural adjustable units. A vehicle seat is provided with: a seat lifter, provided to a seat body for sitting on and adjustable by operation force transmitted from a first operating system; a reclining mechanism, provided to the seat body and adjustable by operation force transmitted from a second operating system; and an operation force imparting unit that is provided at a position where it is able to be operated by a seat occupant at a predetermined position on the seat body. The operation force imparting unit is able to independently take up a first state in which a lifter knob is operated and the seat lifter adjusted, and a second state in which the reclining lever is operated and the reclining mechanism adjusted.

Adjustable seat including operating members

A vehicle seat-mounting structure, of which a cut-out portion is formed at an inner side of a seat frame in the transverse direction of a vehicle and extends from an edge portion of the seat frame behind a vehicle seat. In order that opposite edge portions of the cut-out portion in the transverse direction of the vehicle is fixed indirectly to an adjusting rail, a shaft is rotatably supported to a reclining lower arm so as to secure linking members to both ends of the shaft. Bracket members are rotatably supported to the linking members. The seat frame is secured to the bracket members, and the seat frame is then secured to the adjusting rails.
