The present disclosure provides a control device having versatility and extensibility of a load driving circuit. A control device includes a processor and an IC, in which the IC includes: a communication circuit that transmits a control signal from the processor; a first drive circuit that drives a first load; a second drive circuit that drives a second load and is provided outside the IC separately from the first drive circuit; and a third drive circuit that controls the second drive circuit, the processor transmits channel information corresponding to the number of switches of the second drive circuit to the IC, and the communication circuit changes the number of channels of the third drive circuit on the basis of the channel information.

Control device comprising a processor and an IC

The invention, while reducing noise, suppresses a load increase in a processor and a delay in drive control. An engine control unit includes a processor, a driving circuit including a switching element to drive a load such as a fuel injector and an ignition device, and a communication circuit that transmits control signals from the processor to the driving circuit via serial communication. The control signals each include a command frame for controlling the driving circuit and a data frame for driving the load. If a predetermined bits in each of the data frames received from the processor at predetermined time intervals are determined to be the same twice in succession, the engine control unit changes a state of a driving signal 'Drive' for driving the load and thereby changes an operating state of the switching element.

Control device

The present invention is to provide a magnet coil drive control device that can efficiently suppress conduction noise while reducing the capacitance of a capacitor. A capacitor and an impedance element are arranged in series on the connecting line connecting the positive electrode line and the negative electrode line of a DC power supply, the connecting line between the capacitor and the impedance element is connected to one end of a magnet coil via a freewheeling diode, and the portion between the freewheeling diode and the one end of the magnet coil is connected to the positive electrode line or the negative electrode line by a switching element. Conduction noise caused by the driving current of the magnet coil can be suppressed by the impedance element, and the capacitance of the capacitor can be further reduced. Accordingly, the magnet coil drive control device can be made smaller in size.

A small-sized and low-cost phase detection circuit which has improved noise immunity. The phase detection circuit comprises a multiplier for multiplying an input signal by a reference signal and outputting a first signal, an integration circuit for integrating the first signal and outputting a second signal, a phase estimation circuit for estimating phase information based on the second signal, and a reference signal generation circuit for generating the reference signal based on the estimated phase information. Since the phase is detected based on information representing an entire waveform, the influence of local noise can be diluted and noise immunity can be improved.

A motor control system which can realize current detection with high accuracy by using an amplifier having an ordinary level of accuracy and can avoid deterioration of current detection accuracy even when emperature is changed. The motor control system comprises a switch circuit for supplying a driving current to a motor, a resistor for detecting the driving current, an amplification circuit for amplifying a potential difference across the resistor, an input section switch unit disposed in an input section of the amplification circuit and changing over the potential difference to be forward biased or reverse biased, an output section switch unit disposed in an output section of the amplification circuit and changing over an output voltage of the amplification circuit to be forward biased or reverse biased, and a CPU for averaging a voltage produced when the output voltage of the amplification circuit is forward biased, and a voltage produced when the output voltage of the amplification circuit is reverse biased.

Motor control system

A control device with a time measuring function measures a turned-off time of an ignition switch with a low consumption current and high accuracy at a level adapted for a demand from the controlling side, as well as a turned-on time of the ignition switch. The control device also measures an accumulative turned-on time of the ignition switch. The control device comprises a battery, a microcomputer for computing a control variable to control a control target, a time measuring unit, a clock source for the microcomputer, a clock source for the time measuring unit, and a unit for changing over operation of the time measuring unit depending on an intended use. The time measuring unit operates regardless of run/stop of the microcomputer.

The reliability of the power supply unit which supplies a different voltage to the microcomputer with two or more power supplies is improved. The power supply unit is composed of first regulator, at least one second regulatorwhich generates the voltage lower than that of the first regulator, means for detecting the output voltage of the first regulator, and means for stopping the second regulatorwhen the output voltage Vof the first regulatordrops lower than the first fixed voltage.

This resolver/digital converter has a resolver, a resolver/digital converting portion and an exciting signal generator. The exciting signal generated from the exciting signal generator is supplied to the resolver, and the resolver signals produced from the resolver are supplied to the resolver/digital converter. This resolver/digital converter further has a conversion trigger generator that generates a conversion trigger signal on the basis of the exciting signal generated from the exciting signal generator, an A/D converter that converts the resolver signals produced from the resolver to digital values in response to the conversion trigger signal generated from the conversion trigger generator, and computing means that detects the failure status on the basis of the digital values produced from the A/D converter.
