[Problem] To provide a manual breast pump in which a muscle load due to a repeated operation of a handle can be reduced, and in which a section contacting breast milk can be cleaned easily. [Solution] A manual breast pump includes a main body casing, a hood, a base partwhich is held by the main body casingand has a communicating part Sconnected spatially to an inner space S, a diaphragm generating a negative pressure in the communicating part S, a holding memberwhich is provided at the base partand includes a wall part sandwiched between the main body casingand the base part, and a handlewhich is provided to be rotatable with respect to the main body casingwith an axisof the base partas the center, and is for an operation of deforming the diaphragm. A method of simultaneously specifying the wavelength dispersion and nonlinear coefficient of an optical fiber. Pulsed probe light and pulsed pump light are first caused to enter an optical fiber to be measured. Then, the power oscillation of the back-scattered light of the probe light or idler light generated within the optical fiber is measured. Next, the instantaneous frequency of the measured power oscillation is obtained, and the dependency of the instantaneous frequency relative to the power oscillation of the pump light in a longitudinal direction of the optical fiber is obtained. Thereafter, a rate of change in the longitudinal direction between phase-mismatching conditions and nonlinear coefficient of the optical fiber is obtained from the dependency of the instantaneous frequency. And based on the rate of change, the longitudinal wavelength-dispersion distribution and longitudinal nonlinear-coefficient distribution of the optical fiber are simultaneously specified.

After a sample is previously separated into plural components in a channel formed in a microchip (), the channel is irradiated along a separation direction with a laser beam from a laser oscillator () to sequentially ionize each fraction separated in the channel. The ionized fraction is detected by a mass spectrometry unit () and analyzed by an analytical result analyzing unit (). The analytical result is stored in a memory () while associated with position information in a driver control unit () and information on laser beam irradiation condition in a laser control unit (), and the analytical result is imaged by an imaging unit (). The present invention relates to benzo�c!phenanthridinium derivative of the general formula A: ##STR1## wherein M and N individually represent a hydroxyl or lower alkoxy group, or M and N simultaneously represent a hydrogen atom or together form a methylenedioxy group, X.sup.- represents an acid residue or a hydrogen acid residue, and R represents a lower alkyl group, and a process for preparing such derivatives. The compounds exhibit both potent antitumor activity and platelet aggregation inhibition activity, and are expected to be useful for the treatment of tumors. The process has good reproducibility and may be effected under moderate conditions, and therefore the process is practically useful. In addition, hydrogen salts of the present compounds have an enhanced stability, which is an advantage in formulating the same into pharmaceutical preparations.
