Upon detecting a body-motion before starting a main-imaging, a sequence-switching control-unit controls operation so as to switch from a usual-imaging sequence to a body-motion adaptive-sequence corresponding to an imaging-portion of a subject P by referring to a body-motion adaptive-sequence storage-unit. Moreover, upon detecting a body-motion during the main-imaging according to the usual-imaging sequence, the sequence-switching control-unit refers to a collected-data storage-unit, and controls operation so as to perform a retake by switching to the body-motion adaptive-sequence if an already-collected data-volume is less than a predetermined volume. By contrast, if the already-collected data-volume is equal to or more than the predetermined volume at a time of detecting a body-motion during the main-imaging, the sequence-switching control-unit stops the main-imaging, and controls a data-processing unit so as to reconstruct a magnetic resonance image only with collected data.

Magnetic-resonance imaging diagnosis apparatus and magnetic-resonance imaging method

An MRI apparatus for performing an MRI examination to an object by sequentially applying an imaging method group, which is constituted by time-sequentially arranging a plurality of different imaging methods, to each of the imaging methods, has an imaging method group setting unit, a performing order setting unit and an imaging condition setting unit. The imaging method group setting unit sets the imaging method group. The performing order setting unit sets a performing order as a performing order of the imaging methods constituting the imaging method group. The imaging condition setting unit sets an imaging condition to each of the imaging methods. The workflow setting unit obtains an examination history data corresponding to the imaging method group, the performing order and the imaging condition from the examination history data previously stored to a storage unit, and sets a first workflow relating to the MRI examination by estimating an imaging time of each of the imaging methods in the performing order based on the obtained examination history data.

A magnetic resonance imaging apparatus comprises a collecting section that collects from the subject the magnetic resonance signals corresponding to N phase encode data items for restructuring each of a plurality of images, a restructuring section that restructures each set of N phase encode data items corresponding to the magnetic resonance signals obtained by the collecting section, an image processing section that processes the restructured images obtained at the restructuring section, an image output section that outputs the processed images obtained at the image processing section, and a changing section that changes the number of phase encode data items updated among the N phase encode data items restructured at the restructuring section, while the collecting section is in operation.
