A sunroof apparatus includes: a movable panel adapted to open and close an opening formed in a roof of a vehicle; a guide rail provided in each edge portion of the opening in a width direction of the vehicle such that the guide rail is positioned below the movable panel in a height direction of the vehicle; an attachment member fixed to the movable panel, including a flange extending toward an interior side in the width direction in each edge portion in the width direction, in which an attachment recessed portion is formed in the flange; and a shielding body including interposing pieces which are provided to extend in a forward and rearward direction of the vehicle, slidably engaged with the guide rail, and extending in the width direction of the vehicle while being spaced away from each other in the height direction of the vehicle.

A vehicle roof device includes a guide rail provided along a side edge of an opening portion formed at a vehicle roof, a frame provided at a rear portion of the opening portion so as to extend in a vehicle width direction, and the frame comprised layers of plural plates and fixed to the guide rail in a manner where one of the plates positioned at the top of the layers is fastened to the guide rail by caulking.

Sliding roof device for vehicles

A sunroof device includes a movable panel provided at a roof of a vehicle for opening and closing an opening of the roof, and a deflector provided at a front end of the opening. The deflector is movable upward above the roof and foldable below the roof depending on a position of the movable panel. The deflector has an engaging portion, and a stopping member has an engaged portion engageable with the engaging portion and movable by a first predetermined distance relative to the engaging portion until the engaging portion engages with one end of the engaged portion. The stopping member is further movable together with the deflector by a second predetermined distance relative to the roof after the engaging portion engages with the one end of the engaged portion.

A sunroof for a vehicle includes a guide rail fixed on a roof panel of the vehicle, a movable panel slidably supported on the guide rail for opening and closing an opening in the roof and a slidable sunshade panel which becomes interlocked with the movable panel through an interlock mechanism, wherein the interlock mechanism and the sunshade panel are slidingly moved according to the slide operation of the movable panel.
