A battery pack for a power tool includes a housing, at least one battery, a connector, a first antenna, and a first communication circuit. The housing is detachably attachable to a power tool body. The housing includes a first wall, a second wall opposite to the first wall, and a third wall connecting a periphery of the first wall to a periphery of the second wall. The battery is in an internal space of the housing defined by the first wall, the second wall, and the third wall. The connector is nearer the first wall than the battery to feed power from the battery to the power tool body. The first communication circuit performs communication with the first antenna. The first antenna is at the first wall, at the third wall, or in an area in the internal space other than an area between the battery and the second wall.

A method for touch panel operation is disclosed. A touch is detected on a first touch panel, and reception of input from the first touch panel is prevented based on a predetermined deactivating operation.

Mobile terminal device

A system and method for operating a portable electronic device are disclosed. A detected object is detected when the object is in contact with the device to provide detection results. Whether the device is performing a predetermined function to provide a first determination result and whether the object is in contact with the device based on the detection results to provide a second determination result are then determined. One of a first function and a second function comprising the first function based on the first determination result and the second determination result is then selected. The first function is selected if it is determined that the device is performing the predetermined function and that the object is in contact with mobile terminal. The second function is selected if it is determined that the device is performing the predetermined function and that the object is not in contact with the device.

Communication terminal

In order to transmit radio waves even when an external device is connected, a mobile phone includes an antenna; an FM transmitter which outputs signals for transmitting radio waves from the antenna; an earphone terminal, a USB terminal, and a charging terminal to each of which an external device may be connected; and a connection detecting portion which detects whether an external device is connected to any of the earphone terminal, the USB terminal, and the charging terminal. The FM transmitter controls transmission power of the radio waves (S, S) in accordance with a status of connection with an external device (YES or NO in S) which is detected by the connection detecting portion.

A class AB rail to rail output stage circuit, which includes two complementary output transistors connected in a push-pull manner, facilitates biasing of circuit transistors and improves frequency stability while supporting a wide rail to rail output voltage swing. A differential amplifier compares a biasing voltage applied to a first complementary output transistor to a reference voltage and the differential amplifier output signal is applied for biasing a second complementary output transistor.
