An illumination device includes a main light source block having a plurality of main light sources and a plurality of current limiters, and an auxiliary light source block having an auxiliary light source and a constant-current unit. A series circuit of the auxiliary light source and the constant-current unit is electrically connected in parallel with the main light source block, between first and second output terminals of a rectifier. A smoothing capacitor is electrically connected in parallel with a specific main light source among the plurality of main light sources. The specific main light source and a corresponding current limiter are electrically connected in parallel with the series circuit of the auxiliary light source and the constant-current unit.

A lighting device includes a rectifier, a constant current regulator and a charge-discharge circuit. The constant current regulator is electrically connected in series with first and second solid-state light-emitting element arrays between a pair of output terminals of the rectifier. The constant current regulator is configured to adjust a current flowing through the second solid-state light-emitting element array to a constant current. The charge-discharge circuit is electrically connected in series with the first solid-state light-emitting element array between the pair of output terminals of the rectifier. The charge-discharge circuit includes a charge storage element, and is configured so that a charge current flows to the charge storage element through the first solid-state light-emitting element array, and so that a discharge current flows from the charge storage element to the second solid-state light-emitting element array.

An LED unit which serves as an illumination light source includes: a mounting board on which a light-emitting element, which emits light frontward, is provided; a support disposed behind the mounting board; and a case disposed so that the mounting board is sandwiched in a longitudinal direction by the case and the support. The case includes a restricting portion which restricts sideward movement of the mounting board.

A lighting device pertaining to one aspect of the present invention includes a mount, a light-emitting module, and a substrate holder. The light-emitting module is mounted on a main surface of the mount, and the substrate holder covers a portion of the light-emitting module and is connected with the mount. The light-emitting module includes a substrate, a plurality of light-emitting elements, a sealant and a padding. The padding is provided on a first main surface of the substrate. The light-emitting module is mounted on the main surface of the mount such that a second main surface of the substrate comes into contact with the main surface of the mount, and the light-emitting module is fixed to the mount by pressure applied from the substrate holder via the padding brought into contact with the substrate holder. The padding is made of a same material as the sealant.

Lighting device and light-emitting module

A lamp according to the present invention includes: a line portion which blocks a part of light proceeding from a light emitting unit in a direction perpendicular to a tube axis direction; and a raised portion which blocks the light proceeding from the light emitting unit in the direction perpendicular to the tube axis direction that is not blocked by the line portion. The raised portion has an end portion having a linear shape in the tube axis direction, the end portion being an end portion of a section of the raised portion that blocks light.
