An auxiliary air chamber member includes: a lower surface arranged on the outer circumferential surface side of a well section; an upper surface arranged outward from the lower surface; an auxiliary air chamber formed between the upper surface and the lower surface; a pair of edges that join the lower surface and the upper surface on both sides in the width direction and that engage with the well section; and a plurality of joining sections that partially join the upper surface and the lower surface as a result of being sunk into the interior of the auxiliary air chamber from the upper surface and the lower surface between one edge and the other edge along the wheel width direction Y. The joining points of the individual joining sections are arranged on the strong axis of the cross-sectional main axis of the auxiliary air chamber member in an axial right section.

The vehicle wheel () of the present invention is characterized by including: a main body () which forms a sub air chamber (SC) in a space surrounded by a top plate (), a bottom plate () and a pair of side plates (); and edge portions () which extend from the main body (), and are respectively fitted into a pair of grooves () formed in a well portion () so as to attach the main body () to the well portion (). A vehicle wheel includes an additional air chamber member on an outer circumferential surface of a well functioning as a Helmholtz resonator in a tire air chamber. The additional air chamber includes a body including an additional air chamber and a communication through hole for communication between the additional air chamber with a tire air chamber, and a fastening part for fastening the body between the first vertical wall surface and the second vertical wall surface. An upper surface of the body inclines to have an upward slope from a side of the first vertical wall surface to a side of the second vertical wall surface. The upper surface of the body is formed to extend along and inside or outside in a wheel diametrical direction a line connecting from the top of the vertical wall to the top of the hump on the side of the second vertical wall.

A vehicle wheel includes a main body fitted between a first vertical wall surface and a second vertical wall surface of the wheel, a first flange portion extending from the main body toward the first vertical wall surface, and a second flange portion extending from the main body toward the second vertical wall surface. In the vehicle wheel, a length of one of the flange portions is made shorter than a length of the other flange portion in a wheel width direction.

A vehicle wheel includes a disk and a rim having a well portion and fixed to the disk for supporting a tire, and an additional air chamber member secured to an outer circumferential surface of the well portion in a tire air chamber defined between the rim and the tire. A vehicle wheel which includes an additional air chamber member forming an additional air chamber in a tire air chamber. The additional air chamber member is fixed on an outer circumferential surface of a well portion of a rim. The additional air chamber member is provided with a communication hole communicating between the additional air chamber and the tire air chamber. The communication hole is disposed at a position shifted from a discharge port of an air valve for supplying air in the tire air chamber in a wheel circumferential direction and opened to the tire air chamber.

A vehicle wheel includes: a disk and a rim having a well portion and fixed to the disk for supporting a tire for the vehicle; and an additional air chamber member secured to an outer circumferential surface of the well portion in a tire air chamber defined between the rim and the tire. A sub air chamber provided around outer circumferential surface of a well of a rim of a vehicle wheel includes an upper plate and a lower plate connected at edges thereof which are fitted into channels in first and second vertical wall surfaces formed on the rim. At least one of the upper plate and the bottom plate has orthogonally and diagonally aligned beads to vertical walls, extending in a circumferential direction of the wheel, supporting the sub air chamber, connecting parts locally connecting the upper plate and the bottom plate. The sub air chamber has a protruding part for communicating the sub air chamber with the tire air chamber and serves as a stopper of the sub air chamber.
