An electromagnetic absorber () for a vehicle including (a) a threaded rod () which is disposed on one of a sprung portion and an unsprung portion and which has a threaded groove () formed in its outer circumferential portion and an axial groove () extending in its axis direction (b) a nut () which is rotatably disposed on the other of the sprung portion and the unsprung portion and which is screwed with the threaded rod and (c) a rod-rotation inhibiting member () which includes a fitting portion configured to be fitted in the axial groove and which is disposed on the other of the sprung portion and the unsprung portion, the rod-rotation inhibiting member being configured to inhibit the threaded rod from rotating while permitting the threaded rod to move in the axis direction. In the electromagnetic absorber, the threaded groove is not formed at a section of a fitting range at which the fitting portion is fitted in the axial groove when the fitting portion is located at an end of the fitting range that extends in the axis direction on the outer circumferential portion of the threaded rod.

Vehicular-wheel bearing assembly

A pulser ring and a second seal ring are separately formed. When a multipolar magnetic rotor of the pulser ring is bonded to an outer circumferential face of an outer cylindrical portion of an annular core portion, the multipolar magnetic rotor is opposed to a magnetic sensor in the radial direction. Due to the above structure, the multipolar magnetic rotor can be strongly supported by an outer cylindrical portion of the annular core portion. Therefore, even when a rotary centrifugal force is given to the multipolar magnetic rotor, it can not be swung in the radial direction. Accordingly, an interval of the multipolar magnetic rotor and the magnetic sensor in the radial direction, which are opposed to each other, can be maintained constant irrespective of an intensity of the centrifugal force.

Sealing device and rotation detector

A method of making a coated article is provided. An outer ring is provided with the stator of a resolver, and a ring member with the rotor of the resolver. The stator comprises an annular core and a winding provided around the core. The ring member is provided at a position opposed to the stator with an eccentric cylindrical face serving as the rotor and eccentric with respect to other outer peripheral surface of the ring member.

A sensor-equipped hub unit comprises a hub unithaving a wheel-side raceway member, a body-side raceway member, and two rows of rolling bodies, and a sensor deviceprovided on the hub unit. The sensor devicehas a magnetostrictive sensorfor detecting a reverse magnetostrictive effect of the raceway memberproduced by a force exerted thereon by the rolling bodies. Vehicle control system

After forming a primary powder bed (i.e., powder layer) at a toothed portion of an article, such as a gear or a spline shaft, by electrostatic powder coating process, the powder bed/layer is removed from crests of teeth in the toothed portion by a specified thickness by scraping it off while sucking up the scraped powder. Next, the electrostatic powder coating process is performed again to form a secondary powder bed/layer over the entire surface of the toothed portion. Then, the primary and secondary powder beds/layers are melted or fused by induction heating to thereby form a coating film of a substantially uniform thickness.
