An object of the present invention is to improve durability of a pressure vessel for blasting an article to be treated such as hazardous substance or explosive therein. The pressure vessel, means for achieving the object, has an external vesseland an internal vesselinstalled in the external vessel. The external vesselhas a strength for retaining pressure caused by blasting the article. The internal vesselreceives fragments of the treated articleto protect the external vesselagainst the fragments. A blasting method of blasting an explosive device at least containing an explosive and a chemical agent in a sealed pressure vessel that prevents soot generation during blasting and improves an efficiency of decomposing the chemical agent. First, a transported chemical bomb (explosive)is placed and sealed in a blasting chamber (pressure vessel)The blasting chamberis then brought into a reduced-pressure or vacuum state by aspiration of the air therein by using a vacuum pumpand oxygen is supplied through an injection portinto the blasting chamberto a pressure of 15 to 30% of atmospheric pressure. The chemical bombis then blasted, as it is ignited by an ignition device not shown in the Figure.

A blasting method of processing a bomb by forming an explosive layer on an outermost surface of the bomb to be processed having a casing in a particular shape and by exploding the explosive layer, wherein the explosive layer comprises a first explosive layer formed around the outermost surface of the casing and a second explosive layer formed as to surround the first explosive layer, an explosive in the second explosive layer has a higher explosion velocity than an explosive in the first explosive layer, and the second and first explosive layers are exploded at a certain time interval by igniting a particular region of the second explosive layer. The method allows low-cost blasting of bombs, by relaxing the impact of the scattering casing fragments.
