This invention provides a cost-effective technique for mass-production of a cell culture vessel that allows mass cell culture to be performed in a manner that allows cells to be stably detached from the culture vessel. Specifically, the invention provides a method for producing a cell culture vessel suitable for large-capacity culture comprising cutting a long-sized cell support film to obtain a sheet-like cell support film, fixing the film to a first member, which is not closed, and bonding other members thereto. Thus, a cell culture vessel comprising a container section in which a cell support film is fixed to an inner wall surface can be produced.

Method for producing cell culture vessel

The main object of the present invention is to provide a method for manufacturing a pattern formed body by the electric field jet method, capable of stabilizing the discharge amount and the discharge direction of a liquid. The present invention achieves the object by providing a method for manufacturing a pattern formed body characterized in that a pattern is formed on a substrate by: discharging a liquid from a discharge orifice by applying a voltage between a first electrode, disposed in the vicinity of the discharge orifice of a nozzle of a discharge head, and a second electrode, disposed in between the discharge orifice and the substrate, having an opening for discharge; and adhering the liquid onto the substrate by passing through the opening for discharge of the second electrode.

Method for manufacturing pattern formed body

There are provided an apparatus for fine pattern formation, which can form a fine pattern with high accuracy by direct writing with ink, a production process of fine nozzles provided in the apparatus for fine pattern formation, and a method for fine pattern formation. Fine pattern formation with high accuracy could have been realized by the apparatus for fine pattern formation, comprising: a silicon substrate; a plurality of fine holes which extend through the silicon substrate from the surface of the silicon substrate to the back surface of the silicon substrate and have a silicon oxide layer on the wall surface thereof; fine nozzles which are protruded, integrally with the silicon oxide layer, on the back surface side of the silicon substrate from each opening of the fine holes; a silicon nitride layer provided on the surface and side of the silicon substrate; a support member provided on the surface side of the silicon substrate; an ink passage for supplying ink to the opening of each fine hole on the surface side of the silicon substrate; and an ink supplying device connected to the ink passage.

Ink jet recording method using high viscous substance and apparatus for carrying out the same

A viscous substance dispenser is provided with a container containing a viscous substance having a viscosity in the range of 1,000 to 1,000,000 cps. The container is provided with a circular orifice or a polygonal orifice of a diameter in the range of 50 &mgr;m to 1 mm in its lower portion. An electrode is formed in a portion or the entire portion of the container. A meniscus of the viscous substance is made to bulge out from the orifice and a high voltage pulse is applied to the electrode to pull out the viscous substance through the orifice and a portion of the viscous substance pulled out of the orifice is cut and is made to adhere to a medium.
