A light beam scanning device scans a luminous flux irradiated from a light source and deflected by a deflector to a scanned surface through an optical system having a set of mirrors. A apparatus, such as the light beam scanning device, further includes a scanning line curve adjusting device to bend a first mirror of the set of mirrors so as to correct a curve in a scanning line on the scanned surface, and a scanning line tilt adjusting device to change orientation of a second mirror of the set of mirrors so as to correct a tilt in the scanning line on the scanned surface. The light beam scanning device may be provided in an image forming apparatus.

An optical-scanning apparatus is disclosed. A duct fan unit, which is a simple structure that can be disassembled by an easy operation and the manufacture cost thereof can be decreased. The duct fan unit comprises a duct and a fan. The duct, allows air to pass through is constructed by engaging two duct constructing members together. The fan is installed inside the duct. A guide portion having a rib shape is set on only one of the duct constructing members such that the fan can be installed easily. A resilient protrusion is set on the other duct constructing member such that the fan can be resiliently pressed for securing the fan in position. Therefore, by simply latching the connecting plate of one duct constructing member with the connecting hole of the other duct constructing member the two duct constructing members are fixed to each other.

A driving device, which can maintain a sufficient rated torque of the non-magnetization type electromagnetic clutch, comprises a driving motor and a driving gear. The driving motor and the driving gear are connected by a non-magnetization type electromagnetic clutch. The electromagnetic clutch comprises a driving shaft, wherein the driving shaft of the electromagnetic clutch is made of non-magnetic material. Because the driving shaft is made of non-magnetic material, therefore the magnetic field of the permanent magnet is not adversely affected or disordered, and a stable rated torque can be achieved.
