A vehicle lock device having an approximately U-shaped fixing portion is contained so as not to be seen from the exterior. An approximately U-shaped fixing portion is disposed within a containing portion formed on a rear fender so as to be longer in the longitudinal direction. A lock portion longer in the vehicle width direction is overlapped on the fixing portion so as to cross the fixing portion. The fixing portion and the lock portion are fixed to a hook of a cross-plate and stays of seat rails by means of a fixture. A seat is then mounted on the seat rails. The vehicle device can be thus contained so as not to be seen from the exterior.

A rear structure for a motor cycle having a driver's seat and a rear rider's seat, comprises a rear trunk for receiving therein articles, a pair of armrests for bearing rear driver's elbows in a natural posture. The rear trunk includes a backrest for bearing at least a part of the rear driver's back. The armrests are provided independently of said rear trunk. In addition, various utility containers are provided in the rear structure.

A fairing and headlight assembly for a motorized two wheel vehicle is disclosed, in which the headlight is carried by a yoke which is removably received within grooves in a recess of the fairing and is detachably secured within the fairing by a single screw threaded member which extends to the exterior of the fairing through an aperture therein. The yoke carries a lamp-supporting gimbal mount which is separately adjustable about horizontal and vertical axes, movement of the gimbal about a horizontal axis being under the control of an adjustable member which extends to the exterior of the fairing through said threaded member.

A frame for a motorcycle is disclosed of the type including a main frame which extends rearwardly and downwardly from the journal for the steerable front wheel, and, which at its lower end is rigidly attached to a casing of the drive motor. In order to provide space for accommodating an air filter and ancilliary equipment, a pair of subsidiary tubes are rigidly attached to an upper portion of the main frame, the subsidiary tubes respectively diverging outwardly from the main frame and then extending rearwardly and downwardly to a rigid attachment with a transverse tubular member which is rigidly attached to a rear lower end of the main frame, the attachment of the subsidiary tubes to the tubular member being at positions spaced outwardly of the main frame.

An air sucking device for engines wherein the suction pipe, carburetor, and air cleaner are integrally connected together. The carburetor and suction pipe are housed within a covering so that the device affords protection and a favorable appearance for the respective components. The suction passageway is of a sufficient length to make operation of the engine more efficient.
