An X-ray image diagnostic device of the invention has sensitivity-information-acquisition controlling means commanding synchronization between X-ray irradiation from the X-ray source and readout of X-ray plane detector for correcting sensitivity. When sensitivity information of the X-ray plane detector is calculated using the intensities of X-rays irradiated onto the X-ray plane detector and X-rays detected by the X-ray plane detector, readout of the X-ray plane detector is performed synchronously with X-ray irradiation, and sensitivity information corresponding to variation of the amount of X-ray radiation onto the X-ray plane detector during the reading time is determined using data of every readout channel. Therefore, sensitivity information enabling an accurate sensitivity correction can be obtained from a single output image. This sensitivity information is stored in sensitivity-information-storing means and used for correcting sensitivity of X-ray image data acquired in actual measurements.

Sensitivity information on the sensitivities of the channels of a flat x-ray detector () is used for sensitivity correction of an image formed by irradiation of a subject with x-rays and read out of the flat x-ray detector (). The collection of sensitivity information is started when a signal for starting the collection of the sensitivity information is sent to a sensitivity information collection control means () from an operator console (). The sensitivity information collection control means () sends an irradiation start signal for starting irradiation with calibration light to calibration light control means (). The calibration light control means () controls calibration light irradiation means () so that a desired intensity of light may be applied to the inside of the flat x-ray detector (). Thus, a calibration light reception signal outputted from the flat x-ray detector () is stored as sensitivity information in sensitivity information storage means (). Consequently, such sensitivity information can be collected without irradiating the flat x-ray detector () with x-rays. Therefore, an x-ray image diagnosis apparatus in which the sensitivity information for correcting the sensitivities of the channels of the flat x-ray detector can be collected without irradiating the flat x-ray detector with x-rays is realized.

A friction welded joint structure includes friction welded dissimilar first and second metallic materials. The first metallic material has a rigidity greater than the second metallic material. The angle of the first metallic material to a free edge of the first metallic material, at an end portion of a joined surface between the first and second metallic materials, is greater than or equal to 120 degrees or in the range of from 55 degrees to 85 degrees. And readout control means controls readout of the flat panel detector so as to perform readout with no recording only to the particular pixels of which the address is determined.
