A coagulating cutter according to the present invention comprises: a transmitting member for transmitting energy, for treating living body tissue, to the living body tissue; an outer sheath through which the transmitting member is passed; and a grasping section supported at the tip end portion of the outer sheath so as to be capable of turning with respect to the transmitting member, which allows the living body tissue to be grasped against the transmitting member. With such an arrangement, upon turning the grasping section toward the transmitting member to be in a closed state, the faces of the transmitting member and the grasping section, which face each other, provide a contact portion, where the transmitting member and the grasping section are in contact with each other over a predetermined length, for incising the living body tissue grasped between the transmitting member and the grasping section, and a non-contact portion, where the transmitting member and the grasping section are provided with a predetermined interval on both sides of the axis extending in the direction of the predetermined length of the contact portion so as not to be in contact with each other, for coagulating the living body tissue.

Coagulating cutter

The disclosed invention relates to an improvement in a surgical therapeutic instrument which includes an inserting part, a manipulating part, and a therapeutic part. In a link mechanism having a transmission shaft for transmitting a driving force applied to the manipulating part to the therapeutic part, the position of the transmission shaft is restricted, and a joint is provided in the transmission shaft to reduce the strain of the transmission shaft. A sheath is also provided in the inserting part to facilitate cleaning thereof. A mechanism is provided for immovably locking the movable portion. A circular arc centered about a turning shaft is introduced into the shape of the manipulating part to improve the manipulability thereof. Further, the structure of a gripping portion of the manipulating part is improved.

There is a disclosed a cleaning for a medical instrument, including a nozzle main body detachably to a surgical ultrasonic treatment instrument including a channel, and the nozzle main body includes a water supply port opened in a position connected to the channel, when mounted in the surgical ultrasonic treatment instrument.

Cleaning device for medical instruments

A surgical instrument of the present invention comprises a tool section provided at a distal end of the insert section, having first and second tool pieces connected to each other by a first opening/closing pivot axis, and a manipulating section provided at a proximal end of the insert section, having first and second manipulating bodies connected to each other by a second opening/closing pivot axis wherein the first opening/closing pivot axis is positioned at a first side relative to the longitudinal center axis of the insert section, the second opening/closing pivot axis is positioned at a second side relative to the longitudinal center axis of the insert section, and the first side and second side are established to obtain a positional relationship which is substantially symmetrical to each other relative to the longitudinal center axis of the insert section.

Surgical instrument

The present invention is provided with a treatment section provided at the distal end of an insertion section insertable into a body cavity, and being openable/closable and rotatable from side to side and up and down, an operation section provided at the proximal end of the insertion section and being openable/closable and rotatable from side to side and upward or downward, and first to third driving rods which connect the treatment section and the operation section together and which can be advanced or retracted. The present invention is characterized in that the opening/closing operation of the first and second handles causes the advancing/retracting movement of the driving rod, thereby opening or closing the jaws of the treatment section, and in that the rotation of the operation section causes the advancing/retracting movement of the driving rod, thereby rotating the treatment section relative to the axis of the insertion section.

Surgical operation instrument

Endoscopes comprise image pickup elements for picking up images and transmission circuits and the like for transmitting the picked up images with radio waves of different frequencies. In addition, bar codes to code the frequencies used for transmission are provided to the respective endoscopes, the bar code provided to the endoscope used in endoscope inspection is read on a receiver side, and a reception frequency of a station selection unit is set to the read frequency, so that a signal obtained by a desired endoscope can be easily received and imaged even in case a plurality of endoscopes are used.

Treatment tool for operation

A treating instrument for an operation includes an elastic ring for reducing a load on an operator's fingers which contact first and second rings of first and second handle elements. The elastic ring is provided on a section of at least one of the first and second rings which contacts the operator's fingers.

Treating instrument for operation and medical device using the treatment

The present invention is a magnetic recording medium comprising a substrate and a magnetic layer, wherein said magnetic layer is coated on said substrate, said magnetic layer is an Fe--N--O magnetic layer, each of Fe content F.sub.1, N content N.sub.1 and O content O.sub.1 contained in said Fe--N--O magnetic layer satisfies respective requirements F.sub.1 =50-80 at. %, N.sub.1 =9-25 at. %, O.sub.1 =11-36 at. % and N.sub.1 &lt;O.sub.1, and said magnetic layer exhibits a coercive force Hc in a horizontal direction ranging from 1200 to 2400 Oe. This magnetic recording medium exhibits excelleny C/N.

Magnetic recording medium

A magnetic recording medium comprising a substrate, a magnetic layer, a protective layer and a lubricant layer, wherein the magnetic layer is coated on the substrate, the protective layer is coated on the magnetic layer, the lubricant layer is coated on the protective layer, the magnetic layer is an Fe--C--O metal magnetic layer containing Fe, C and O, the protective layer is a diamond-like carbon layer and the lubricant is a fluorine-contained lubricant. The magnetic recording medium using an inexpensive Fe as a magnetic material, has excellent electromagnetic conversion characteristic, durability, corrosion resistance and running capability.

A medical instrument for use in combination with an endoscope having an operating shaft and a pair of tongs. The instrument has a drive mechanism provided between the operating shaft and the tongs, for opening and closing the tongs. The drive mechanism can apply an additional force to the tongs even after the tongs have closed completely.

Medical instrument for use in combination with endoscopes

A magnetic recording medium comprising a substrate and a magnetic layer, wherein the magnetic layer is an Fe--N--O magnetic layer, and a distribution of N density in a depth direction of said Fe--N--O magnetic layer has a maximum value N1 in an intermediate layer section of said Fe--N--O magnetic layer, and the maximum value N1 ranges from 20 to 50 at. %, and an area where a density value is equal to or more than half of said maximum value N1 ranges from 100 to 500 .ANG. in a depth direction of said Fe--N--O magnetic layer. The magnetic recording medium has an excellent C/N.

A magnetic recording medium comprising a substrate and a magnetic layer, wherein the magnetic layer is coated on the substrate, the magnetic layer is an Fe--C--O magnetic layer and has a oblique column structure, and an O concentration (at. %) Oc in a center part of the column and an O concentration (at. %) Os around a surface part of the column satisfy Oc&lt;Os. The magnetic recording medium has an excellent S/N, and has excellent corrosion resistance and durability.
