Provided is a manufacturing method of a label, including configuring a member for a label so as to dispose a magnetic member between a base material and a covering material, cutting the magnetic member along with the base material so as to cut a label from the member for a label, removing an unnecessary portion of the base material from the member for a label, and detecting whether or not the label is present in the unnecessary portion of the base material or whether or not the label is present in the member for a label in which the unnecessary portion of the base material has been removed.

An image forming apparatus includes a forming section that forms an image on a side of paper; a fixing section that applies heat to fix the image onto the side of the paper; a paper reversing section that reverses a front and back of the paper having the image fixed onto a first side in the fixing section; a first measuring section that is provided between a registration roller and the forming section to measure a first moisture content of the paper before an image is formed on the first side, and a second moisture content of the paper before an image is formed on a second side, after the image is fixed on the first side; and a calculating section that calculates amount of change of the size of the paper on the basis of the difference between the first moisture content and the second moisture content.

Image forming apparatus

When a user who has a magnetic substance attached paper enters a gate which generates a magnetic field, steep magnetization reversal is produced in the magnetic substance by the magnetic field. As a result, pulse current flows into a detection coil provided in the gate, and a generated waveform signal indicating a characteristic transient response is output to a terminal device. The terminal device calculates correlation coefficients of this waveform and a plurality of stored reference waveforms, additionally calculates an average of the calculated correlation coefficients, and determines whether or not the average is equal to or more than a threshold. When the average is equal to or more than the threshold, the terminal device instructs an imaging device to image a user. When the average is below the threshold, the imaging device is not allowed to image the user.

A haptic interface device includes a detection section for detecting the state of operation on an operating section performed by an operator or the position of the operating section and outputting a signal indicating the detected state or position; a driving section for electromagnetically driving the operating section to provide a reaction force to the operator; and a control section for controlling the driving section according to the signal output from the detection section and based on interface definition information in which is defined specification information for the operating section to behave as an interface apparatus. The control section produces a reaction force corresponding to the operation performed by the operator to provide an operational feeling that would be produced by the interface apparatus behaved by the operating section when operated.
