A coaxial connector set including a first connector to which a coaxial cable having a center conductor and an outer conductor is connected, and a second connector mounted on a circuit board having a ground coupling portion. The first connector has a first outer terminal, and the second connector has a second outer terminal. The first outer terminal has an outer conductor clamp portion, a first outer contact portion, and a tip surrounding portion positioned between the outer conductor clamp portion and the first outer contact portion and surrounding a tip portion of the center conductor. Shortcut coupling paths are formed between the tip surrounding portion and the second outer terminal or the ground coupling portion.

Ground coupling structure in coaxial connector set

An L-type coaxial connector is connected to a coaxial cable including a central conductor and an external conductor, and includes a housing, a bushing, and a socket. The housing includes a housing main body, a back-side section, and a crimp section. The housing main body has a first cut section. The back-side section includes a lid section and an extending section extending from the lid section and above which the external conductor is placed. The crimp section extends from the extending section, and its leading end section is bent so as to be opposed to the extending section such that the coaxial cable is interposed therebetween. The extending section has a second cut section, and a joining member joining the external conductor and the extending section is present inside the second cut section.

L-type coaxial connector and method for manufacturing L-type coaxial connector

An L-shaped coaxial connector manufacturable at low costs includes a housing having a cylinder portion and a back portion. The cylinder portion includes a first opening and a second opening, and the cylinder portion is in contact with an external conductor of a receptacle inserted from the first opening. The back portion is connected to the cylinder portion and covers the second opening. The housing is made of a metal plate. The diameter of a part of a bushing contained in the cylinder portion is equal to or smaller than the diameter of the first opening. The housing further includes a crimping portion extending from the back portion. The crimping portion fixes the bushing to the housing by being bent so as to face the back portion with the bushing therebetween.

L-shaped coaxial connector

A receptacle for coaxial connector includes an outer conductor having a tubular portion, a central conductor having a central-conductor contact portion extending in an axis direction in an internal space of the tubular portion, and an insulator holding the outer conductor and the central conductor in an insulating state. An overhanging region made of the outer conductor and the insulator overhangs in a direction perpendicular to the tubular portion of the outer conductor. In this overhanging region, the outer conductor includes outer-conductor overhanging portions, and the insulator includes an insulator overhanging portion. The outer-conductor overhanging portions and the insulator overhanging portion have substantially the same thickness.

Receptacle for coaxial connector

A housing includes a cylinder portion, a back portion, crimping portions, and supporting portions. The cylinder portion has a first opening, a second opening, and a cut and can be in contact with an external conductor of a receptacle inserted from the first opening. The back unit covers the second opening. Each of the supporting portions is disposed on the cylinder portion. Each of the crimping portions extends from the back portion and is bent so as to face the back portion such that the supporting portion is disposed between the crimping portion and the back portion. An elastic portion is disposed between the crimping portion and the supporting portion.
