A system for assisting respiration which includes a flat, belt-shaped, tube made of rubber, and having a valve for introducing air. The flat tube has an outer side comprising a layer of a rubber sheet having a high modulus of elasticity and an inner side comprising a layer of a rubber sheet having a low modulus of elasticity, and is attachable to a part of a lower breast to an upper abdomen portion of a patient for intermittently pressing the part of the lower breast to the upper abdomen portion of the patient responsive to air being introduced into the flat tube. A belt, having a same width as that of the flat tube and a length longer than that of the flat tube, is laminated to the flat tube at the outside of the flat tube, and may have sheet fasteners at both ends thereof. A flow sensor detects inspiration and expiration of a patient, a compressor supplies compressed air to the flat tube during a period of inspiration of the patient, a pressure regulator regulates a pressure of the compressed air supplied to the flat tube, a valve is provided for increasing the pressure of the compressed air supplied to the flat tube, and a release valve is provided for releasing pressure in the flat tube at an early time in a period of expiration of the patient. A switchover valve may be provided for causing the compressor to supply compressed air to the flat tube during the period of expiration and for causing the release valve to release pressure in the flat tube at the start of inspiration.

A steering control system for a self-propelled working vehicle having steerable front and rear wheels. The control system comprises sensors for detecting a directional or orientation error and a sideways error of the vehicle relative to a reference line or lines extending in a vehicle running direction, and a control unit for steering the vehicle in response to signals received from the sensors. The control unit is capable of steering the vehicle in a turn steering mode for turning the front and rear wheels to the same steering angle in opposite directions and a parallel steering mode for turning the front and rear wheels to the same steering angle in the same direction. When the directional error and the sideways error take place simultaneously, the control unit determines directions and angles for turning the front and rear wheels to correct the two errors simultaneously.

Novel condensed seven-membered ring compounds of the formula: ##STR1## [wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are independently hydrogen, halogen, trifluoromethyl, lower alkyl or lower alkoxy, or both jointly form tri- or tetramethylene; R.sup.3 and R.sup.5 are independently hydrogen, lower alkyl or aralkyl; R.sup.4 is hydrogen or lower alkyl; R.sup.6 is a condensed or non-condensed hetero-alicyclic containing at least one atom of N, O and S as a ring-forming atom which may be substituted; A is an alkylene chain; n is 1 or 2] and salts thereof. These compounds exhibit inhibitory activity on angiotensin converting enzyme and so forth, and are of value as an agent for diagnosis, prevention and treatment of circulatory diseases, such as hypertension, cardiopathy and cerebral apoploxy.

An automatic differential locking system for a working vehicle having steerable front and rear wheels, which includes a selector for selecting a steering mode of the vehicle, an actuator for operating a differential locking mechanism, and a gate for sending a control signal to the actuator in response to a signal received from the selector. The gate is adapted to send a differential locking signal to the actuator upon receipt of a parallel steering mode signal from the selector. In response to the differential locking signal the actuator actuates the differential locking mechanism. Since differential revolutions of the wheels are limited at times of parallel steering, the vehicle is capable of accurate course revisions and alterations without slipping.

An automatic running work vehicle which is adapted to repeat a running travel reciprocatingly and which has means for teaching the running course of one travel by sampling the running direction detected by an orientation sensor every predetermined running distance detected by a distance sensor during the travel and for steering the work vehicle based on the information of running course taught by the preceding travel when follower sensors fail to detect the boundary of the running course for a predetermined period of time.

An automatic running work vehicle adapted to repeatedly work on the ground while automatically changing its running direction and provided with means for controlling the vehicle body so that the vehicle body will be automatically positioned, upon a change of direction after finishing one course, for the next course with its orientation and position in match with the boundary of the course.

3-amino-4-oxo-2,3,4,5-tetrahydro-1,5-benzoxazepine derivatives

An automatic running work vehicle in which both front wheels and rear wheels can be steered and which is provided with a follower sensor for detecting the boundary between an unworked area and a worked area and an orientation sensor for detecting the running direction so as to run automatically along the boundary. Based on the result of detection of the boundary by the follower sensor and on the result of detection of the orientation of the vehicle body by the orientation sensor, the front and rear wheels are steered automatically to correct the running direction automatically.
