According to an embodiment, system includes transmitter, pump, controller, tank and thermal storage. Pump circulates water through the transmitter. Controller drives the pump, circulates the water while the transmitter is operating, and stops the circulation of the water at a time of a stop of the transmitter. Tank stores the water circulated through the transmitter, and supplies the water to the pump. Thermal storage is provided on a surface of the tank, and stores waste heat of the exothermic part of the transmitter, which was taken in the water via the tank. Thermal storage changes in phase if a temperature of the water in the tank lowers to a predetermined temperature or below, and heats the water by latent heat which occurs.

Transmission system

According to an embodiment, a gas-blast circuit breaker comprises a heat removal unit in a flow path of arc extinguishing gas. The heat removal unit each includes: plate-shaped heat removal members contacting the arc extinguishing gas flowing in the flow path; and a holding portion holding the plate-shaped heat removal members to stack the heat removal members at intervals in a thickness direction. Each of the heat removal members includes: an upstream side end portion; a downstream side end portion; and a thickest portion with a largest thickness which is provided between the upstream side end portion and the downstream side end portion. Thickness of the heat removal member continuously changes between the upstream side end portion and the downstream side end portion via the thickest portion.

Gas-blast circuit breaker

According to one embodiment, a lighting device includes a hollow globe having an opening at an end thereof, a light source housed in the globe and including at least an LED, a pillar portion housed in the globe and supporting the light source, a cap connector directly connected to the pillar portion, or indirectly connected to the pillar portion via another member, and a cap attached to the cap connector and electrically connected to the light source. A thermally conductive layer is provided between the inner surface of the globe and the lateral surface of the pillar portion.

According to one embodiment, a lighting device includes a hollow main body having thermal conductivity, a light source having at least a semiconductor light-emitting element, an accessory element, and an adiabatic member. The light source is thermally coupled to the main body. The accessory element has an allowable temperature limit different from that of the light source, and is accommodated in the main body. The adiabatic member divides the main body into a first region thermally coupled to the light source, and at least a second region thermally coupled to the accessory element and thermally isolated from the first region.

According to one embodiment, a lighting apparatus includes a light source which includes a light emitting surface, and a light guide provided to be coaxial with an axis which extends along a direction perpendicular to the light emitting surface. The light guide includes: an incident plane facing the light emitting surface; an outer circumferential surface configured to protrude in a direction extending away from the light source so as to surround the axis from an outer periphery of the incident surface and so as to totally reflect light from the light source which is made to enter the light guide from the incident surface; and a hollow part provided at a position distant in the axis direction from the incident surface. The hollow part includes a first light diffusing surface parallel to an axis along which the light totally reflected on the outer circumferential surface is led.

The globe includes a maximum diameter part in which an external diameter of the globe is maximum. The housing is thermally connected to the base. The housing includes a cylindrical radiator through which air flows. The cap part is attached to the housing. One end part of the radiator is located between the cap part and the maximum diameter part.

A lighting unit according to one embodiment includes a board, a support member, and a plurality of heat radiation fins. A light emitting element is disposed on a first surface of the board. The support member has an interior surface on which a second surface of the board that is opposite to the first surface is disposed to be in contact therewith to enable heat conduction from the board to the support member.
