An inkjet ink contains at least a first carbon black, a second carbon black, and water. The first carbon black has a DBP oil absorption of less than 130 mL/100 g and a BET specific surface area of less than 300 m/g. The second carbon black has a DBP oil absorption of at least 130 mL/100 g and a BET specific surface area of at least 300 m/g.

Inkjet ink

A pretreatment liquid for inkjet recording contains a photobase generator that produces an organic amine compound through light exposure. An inkjet recording apparatus forms an image on an image formation area of a recording medium. The inkjet recording apparatus includes a pretreatment section, a light exposure section, and a recording head. The pretreatment section ejects the pretreatment liquid for inkjet recording toward the image formation area of the recording medium. The light exposure section performs light exposure on the image formation area of the recording medium to which the pretreatment liquid for inkjet recording has been ejected. The recording head ejects an ink toward the image formation area of the recording medium subjected to the light exposure to form the image.

Pretreatment liquid for inkjet recording, inkjet recording apparatus, and image forming method

A pretreatment solution for inkjet recording contains a photoacid generator that generates sulfonic acid through light exposure. The photoacid generator may be a compound represented by a general formula (I) or (II), wherein Rrepresents a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group, a substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclic group, a fluorine atom, a nitro group, or a cyano group; and Rrepresents a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkenyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkynyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkenyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkynyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group, a substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclic group, an acylamide group, a sulfonylamide group, or a halogen atom

A liquid developer contains an electrically insulating liquid carrier and toner particles dispersed in the liquid carrier. Each toner particle includes a core and a shell layer that is formed on a surface of the core and contains a thermosetting resin.

Liquid developer and method for manufacturing the same

A liquid developer includes a carrier liquid having insulation property, colored particles, and an organic high molecular compound. The organic high molecular compound is dissolved in the carrier liquid. The organic high molecular compound includes elastomer A that is a styrene-butadiene-based elastomer not having an acid group or a basic group and elastomer B that is a styrene-based elastomer having an acid group or a basic group. A content of the elastomer A in the liquid developer is 6% by mass or more and 8% by mass or less, and a content of the elastomer B in the liquid developer is 0.4% by mass or more and 0.8% by mass or less. The colored particles include aniline black.

Liquid developer and image forming method

In order to prevent the occurrence of bleeding in a nip between a photoreceptor and an intermediate transfer body or a nip between the photoreceptor and a sheet, which is a problem in a wet developing method, the present disclosure provides a liquid developer that includes an electrically insulating carrier liquid and colored particles dispersed within the carrier liquid, further contains an organic polymer compound, and has a viscosity of 30 to 400 mPa&#xb7;s at a measurement temperature of 25&#xb0; C.

Liquid developer, liquid developing device, and wet image forming method

A liquid developer containing an electrically insulating carrier fluid and colored particles dispersed in the carrier fluid and a wet-type image forming apparatus using this liquid developer are provided, with the colored particles being pigments and this liquid developer containing at least one selected from a group consisting of styrene elastomer, polyvinyl butyral, cyclic olefin copolymer and cellulose ether.
