A laminated coil component includes a multilayer body in which a coil, which is obtained by electrically connecting a plurality of coil conductors with a via conductor interposed therebetween, is provided in an inside of an insulator portion which is obtained by laminating a plurality of insulation layers. Each of a first coil conductor and a second coil conductor that are adjacent to each other in a lamination direction and are electrically connected in series with a first via conductor interposed therebetween includes a first main surface that faces the opposite direction to the lamination direction and on which a void exists. The second coil conductor includes a second main surface that faces the lamination direction and on which another void exists, and the other void locally exists on a position opposed to the first via conductor.

Laminated coil component

A method for producing a multilayer coil component includes preparing an insulating sheet; forming a resin paste layer on the insulating sheet by using a resin paste; forming a conductive paste layer by using a conductive paste, the conductive paste layer covering the resin paste layer and having a projecting portion at a portion where a second void portion is to be formed; forming an insulating paste layer on the insulating sheet by using an insulating paste such that at least part of an upper surface of the conductive paste layer is exposed; stacking the insulating sheets having the resin paste layer, the conductive paste layer, and the insulating paste layer formed thereon to form a multilayer compact that includes the conductive paste layers connected into a coil shape; and firing the multilayer compact.

Multilayer coil component

A coil component in which stress inside thereof is alleviated and the DC resistance is low. A multilayer coil component includes an element body that includes an insulator portion and a coil embedded in the insulator portion; and outer electrodes disposed on surfaces of the insulator portion and electrically connected to ends of the coil. There is a groove-shaped void portion at a boundary between the coil and the insulator portion, and the void portion extends in a length direction of the coil. The coil has a ridge in the void portion, and the ridge extends in the length direction of the coil.

Coil component

A multilayer coil component includes a multilayer body that includes insulating layers that are stacked; a coil disposed in the multilayer body; and outer electrodes disposed on surfaces of the multilayer body and electrically connected to the coil. The coil includes at least two coil conductor groups that each include at least two coil conductors connected to each other in parallel through two coupling conductors. The at least two coil conductor groups are connected to each other in series through a connecting conductor. The connecting conductor connects the coil conductor between the two coupling conductors in one of the at least two coil conductor groups to the coil conductor between the two coupling conductors in another one of the at least two coil conductor groups.

A highly reliable multilayer coil component in which the internal stress is further alleviated, and a method for producing the same. The method produces a multilayer coil component that includes an insulator portion, a coil that is embedded in the insulator portion and includes a plurality of coil conductor layers electrically connected to one another, and an outer electrode that is disposed on a surface of the insulator portion and is electrically connected to an extended portion of the coil. The method includes forming a conductive paste layer by using a conductive paste; forming an insulating paste layer by using an insulating paste; forming a multilayer compact that includes the conductive paste layer and the insulating paste layer; and firing the multilayer compact, in which the conductive paste has a PVC of 60% or more and 80% or less (i.e., from 60% to 80%).

A coil array component including an element assembly that includes a filler and a resin material, a first coil portion and a second coil portion that are embedded in the element assembly and that are composed of a first coil conductor and a second coil conductor, respectively, and four outer electrodes electrically connected to the first coil portion and the second coil portion. Also, the first coil conductor and the second coil conductor are covered with a glass layer.

Coil array component

A multilayer coil component includes a body including laminated ferrite layers, a coil conductor including conductive layers laminated in the body, and a pair of outer electrodes disposed on a lower surface of the body. Each of the pair of outer electrodes is electrically connected to a corresponding one of end portions of the coil conductor. Each of the outer electrodes includes an underlying electrode and a plating layer disposed on the underlying electrode. The underlying electrode is disposed at a distance from a side surface of the body.

A coil component including an element assembly that contains a filler and a resin material, a coil portion composed of a coil conductor that is embedded in the element assembly, and a pair of outer electrodes electrically connected to the coil conductor. The outer electrodes are disposed on a lower surface, and the coil axis of the coil portion is parallel to a mounting surface.

A multilayer coil component includes a body including laminated ferrite layers, a coil conductor including conductive layers laminated in the body, and a pair of outer electrodes disposed on the lower surface of the body. Each of the pair of outer electrodes is electrically connected to a corresponding one of the end portions of the coil conductor. The lower surface of the multilayer coil component includes a recessed section between the pair of outer electrodes.

A multilayer coil component includes a body including laminated ferrite layers, a coil conductor including conductive layers laminated in the body, and a pair of outer electrodes. Each of the outer electrodes is electrically connected to a corresponding one of end portions of the coil conductor. At least one of the conductive layers has a constricted portion at an end portion thereof. Each of the conductive layers includes a first conductive layer and a second conductive layer. The first conductive layer has a thickness different from the second conductive layer.

A coil array component including an element assembly that includes a filler and a resin material, a first coil portion and a second coil portion that are embedded in the element assembly and that are composed of a first coil conductor and a second coil conductor, respectively, and four outer electrodes electrically connected to the first coil portion and the second coil portion. Also, four extension electrodes that extend from end surfaces of the element assembly to the bottom surface and are electrically connected to the outer electrodes on the bottom surface are further included. In addition, the extension electrodes are covered with insulating layers on end surfaces of the element assembly.

A laminated inductor includes a structure and arrangement that allows a synthetic reaction during baking to proceed without problems occurring during plating. The laminated inductor includes magnetic sheets provided with associated coil conductors thereon and a magnetic sheet having no conductor thereon for covering the inductor. The magnetic sheets are prepared by mixing respective powders primarily including Fe O , NiO, ZnO, and CuO. A composition of the powder thus prepared preferably includes about 45 to about 50 mole percent of Fe O , about 5 to about 50 mole percent of NiO, about 0.5 to about 30 mole percent of ZnO, and about 4 to about 16 mole percent of CuO. In addition, about 0.1 to less than about 0.5 percent by weight of Bi O having a specific surface area of about 10 m /g to about 20 m /g is added to the powder.

Laminated inductor

When a plurality of devices are disposed in parallel in a magnetic ceramic laminated member to form a complex electronic component, an insulating member is disposed between adjacent devices. When adjacent devices among a plurality of devices are disposed on different planes in a magnetic ceramic laminated member to form a complex electronic component, an insulating member is disposed at least at a part of an intermediate layer positioned between the adjacent devices in the lamination direction.

An insulating ceramic composition which comprises about 62-75 wt % of silicon oxide (in terms of SiO.sub.2), about 4-22 wt % of barium oxide (in terms of BaCO.sub.3), about 0.5-2.5 wt % of aluminum oxide (in terms Al.sub.2 O.sub.3), 0 to about 0.8 wt % of chromium oxide (in terms of Cr.sub.2 O.sub.3), about 0.2-0.8 wt % of calcium oxide (in terms of CaCO.sub.3), about 8-18 wt % of boron oxide (in terms of B.sub.2 O.sub.3), and 0 to about 2.5 wt % of potassium oxide (in terms of K.sub.2 O). A ceramic inductor is made of said insulating ceramic composition.
