At least one of a pair of pad springs includes a guide plate portion for guiding an ear portion of a corresponding friction pad in a disc axial direction. The guide plate portion includes a first plate portion, a second plate portion, and a bottom plate apportion. A radially biasing portion is configured to elastically bias the ear portion of the friction pad toward the first plate portion; and a rotational direction biasing portion is configured to bias the friction pad in a rotational direction of a disc. The second plate portion is provided with an open portion at a position shifted inward from a middle position in the disc axial direction. The rotational direction biasing portion includes a main biasing portion configured to bias the friction pad inward in the disc rotational direction, and a sub biasing portion arranged across the open portion away from the main biasing portion.

Disc brake

Provided is a disk brake in which a rotation control part for controlling relative rotation of a cartridge and a cylinder of a parking brake mechanism is formed at the cartridge and includes convex parts having curved surfaces and concave parts formed at the cylinder and having curved surfaces, and a spacer formed of stainless steel, resiliently fitted into an inner circumference of the cylinder and including arc part having the same shape as the concave parts is disposed between the convex parts and the concave parts.

Disk brake

Provided is a disk brake having a caliper. The caliper includes a cylinder part disposed at one side in a disk axial direction and having a bore for accommodating a piston, a pair of arm parts extending to both sides of the cylinder part in a disk rotational direction and having ends to which sliding pins are fixed, and a guide attachment part configured to couple the one arm part to the cylinder part and to which a cable guide member is fixed, which are integrally formed with each other. A thickness of the guide attachment part in a disk diameter direction and a thickness of the one arm part in the disk diameter direction at least partially overlap in the disk axial direction.

A disk brake capable of improving fabrication efficiency and having a transmission member. The transmission member () includes: an anti-rotation locking portion () formed on an outer circumferential portion of the transmission member, the anti-rotation locking portion being slidably fitted into a fitting area () on a cylinder () side so as to restrict rotation relative to the cylinder; and a seal groove () formed in an inserted portion (). The seal groove stores a sealing member () for defining an internal space in the cylinder () and a cam chamber (). The anti-rotation locking portion is fitted into the fitting area () on the cylinder side before the sealing member is positioned inside a hole () when the inserted portion () of the transmission member () is inserted into the hole.
