While comprising filled minor compartments being filled with an inclusion in which a liquid makes the major component, and vacant minor compartments being filled with the air, at least one of the vacant minor compartments adjoins the filled minor compartments, and a fragile section is formed in at least one of ribs that demarcate the filled minor compartments and the adjoining vacant minor compartments. After the fragile section has fractured, shock energy can be absorbed furthermore by means of circulation resistance to the inclusion that flows from the filled minor compartments to the vacant minor compartments.

Vehicle door

When an operation wall of an inner member is inserted into an insertion portion of an outer member and an engagement piece does not receive a cam operation due to a slanted cam portion, contact pieces of the outer member do not correspond to a positioning hole of the inner member and are located in a position so as not to be inserted into the positioning hole. When the outer member is inserted into an attachment hole of an attachment receiving member with maintaining a state where the engagement piece does not receive the cam operation due to the slanted cam portion, the contact pieces are elastically deformed inwardly and located in a position so as to be inserted into the positioning hole.

Clip

It is to provide a console box, in which a ventilation duct is integrated with the console box without using a slide core, thus suppressing the increase of costs and preventing dew formation in a box body. A vertical wall protrudes downwards from the lower plate of the box body in such a way as to extend in the longitudinal direction of the console box, and a horizontal wall is integrally provided on a lower end of the vertical wall in such a way as to protrude to at least one of left and right sides and extend in the longitudinal direction of the console box. A ventilation duct is defined by the lower plate, the vertical wall, the horizontal wall, and each of the side panels. The console box includes the box body and a pair of left and right side panels, thus allowing the ventilation duct to be easily integrated with the lower portion of the box body without using the slide core. Also, dew is not formed on a wall surface of a storage space.

Console box

A storage apparatus includes a container body, a lid member with an arm, a shaft, an urging member, and a slot. The container body has a top opening. The lid member opens and closes the top opening of the container body, and is held swingably to the container body. The arm extends downward from the lid member. The shaft supports the arm pivotably to the container body, and is fitted into the slot so as to pivotably hold the arm. The urging member urges the lid member upward. The slot extends up-and-downward. Moreover, the container body further has a receiver. The receiver is brought into contact with the lid member so as to support the lid member when the pivotably-supporting shaft moves relatively within the slot so as to move the lid member downward. Therefore, the arm and pivotably-supporting shaft hardly deform because no excessive load acts onto them.

Storage apparatus

A lid device driving an opening operation of a lid body by an urging member such as a coil spring and capable of opening the lid body securely. Of a guide portion for guiding an engaging end of the urging member of the lid device, a first guide portion for guiding the engaging end in moving the lid body from a closed position to an open position is provided with an initial guide portion and a later guide portion so that the urging member releases a large urging force when the engaging end is guided by the initial guide portion.

Lid Device

A cover includes a cover body, a guide, and an urging member. The cover body opens and closes an opening, formed in an accommodation housing. The guide is disposed in the accommodation housing, and extends in a direction crossing a direction, in which the cover body opens and closes the opening, partially at least. The urging member has a fastened end, fastened to the cover body, and an engagement end, engaged with the guide, and is expandable and contractable for accumulating an urging force as the cover body opens and closes the opening. The urging force urges the cover body in at least one of occasions, when the cover body opens the opening and when the cover body closes the opening.

Cover

A container holder includes a holder body, a cover, and a swing arm. The cover has a front end, a rear end, a first engager disposed adjacent to the rear end. The swing arm has a sliding groove extending in a direction crossing the up/down directions of the holder body, holds the first engager of the cover slidably and swingably with the sliding groove, and is held swingably to the holder body at one of the opposite ends. When the swing arm swings the cover from a close position to an open position, the swing arm lets the cover pass firstly a semi-open position, at which the sliding groove guides the cover so as to decline the rear end of the cover, and then lets the cover swing to the open position along with the swinging swing arm.

Container holder

A cup holder includes a holder body, an inner-peripheral-side supporting member, a first urging member, an outer-peripheral-side supporting member, and a second urging member. The holder body has an accommodation portion. The first urging member urges the inner-peripheral-side supporting member rotatably upward to a first datum position. The second urging member urges the outer-peripheral-side supporting member rotatably upward to a second datum position. The first rotary shaft-center of the inner-peripheral-side supporting member, which is located at the first datum position, being disposed at a position, which is displaced by a predetermined magnitude toward an imaginary center of the accommodation portion of the holder body with respect to the second rotary shaft-center of the outer-peripheral-side supporting member, which is located at the second datum position.

Cup holder

A cup holder of rotary type has a holder part provided on a back face of a lid body. A support part which is urged so as to move apart from the holder part and pivotally connected to the holder part at its one end will move up and down along with opening and closing motions of the lid body. It is possible to realize the cup holder having high holding performance for a tall container without requiring a large storing space.

In a molded product, at least an opening end, forming a window frame of a window formed as a part of a molded subassembly, is fastened integrally to a skin of the molded subassembly. Alternatively, a decorative component part is disposed on an outer periphery of the window so that a parting line between the decorative component part and the skin is visible as being joined closely in a decorative surface of the completed molded product. Processes for manufacturing the same are disclosed as well.

Molded product and process for manufacturing the same

A drawer includes a case, a drawer member, a switching member, and an urging-direction changing member. The case is buried in a panel. The drawer member is drawable out of the case, and is accommodatable in the case. The switching member is capable of outputting an operation force applied thereto in a forward direction and in a reverse direction in a switching manner. The urging-direction changing member receives outputs from the switching member, and is capable of urging the drawer member in a drawn-out direction and in an accommodated direction in a changing manner. The drawer can urge the drawer member in both directions, the drawn-out direction and the accommodated direction, with a reduced number of component parts and with high reliability.

Drawer

A glove compartment is provided in an instrument panel of a vehicle. A lid selectively opens and closes an opening formed in the instrument panel. A gap is defined between side edges of the lid and side edges of the opening when the lid closes the opening. Gap adjusters hold the side edges of the lid with respect to the side edges of the opening when the lid closes the opening, thereby adjusting the gaps. A locking mechanism locks the lid in a state closing the opening. An unlocking mechanism cancels the locked state of the lid. The unlocking mechanism includes an extrusion pin that is configured to push the lid to the outside of the opening when canceling the locked state of the lid.

Glove compartment

A push button includes a button body, and a panel body. The button body includes a cylinder, a presser, and a rim. The cylinder has opposite ends, and an outer peripheral shape. The presser is disposed at one of the opposite ends of the cylinder, and forms a pressing surface. The rim protrudes beyond the outer peripheral shape of the cylinder, and has a rear surface facing the pressing surface back-to-back. The panel body includes a cylinder-shaped holder, a main body, and a flange. The cylinder-shaped holder holds the button body therein so as to enable the button body to reciprocate in an axial direction of the cylinder, and has an opening. The main body demarcates the opening of the cylinder-shaped holder. The flange protrudes radially inward, and has a leading end to be brought into contact with the rear surface of the rim.

Push button

An air-conditioning resistor has a panel member formed with an opening for an operating element and an airflow port, a retainer formed on the panel member so as to communicate with the airflow port and to define interiorly an airflow passage for allowing air-conditioning air to flow therethrough, a lateral fin pivotably supported in the retainer and being capable of adjusting the wind direction of the air-conditioning air in the vertical direction, a vertical fin pivotably supported in the retainer and being capable of adjusting the wind direction of the air-conditioning air in the lateral direction, and a spherical operating element which can operate the vertical fin and the lateral fin simultaneously and has a partial spherical surfaces arranged so as to project from the opening for the operating element.
