A gas and liquid separator includes a first separating portion configured to separate a liquid droplet from a first exhaust gas discharged from a negative electrode of a fuel cell, a first container accommodating the first separating portion, a first storage reservoir storing water flowing down from the first separating portion, a second container provided at a lower side of the first storage reservoir, a second storage reservoir provided at a lower portion of the second container, and a valve apparatus including a valve discharging water stored in the first storage reservoir, wherein a second exhaust gas discharged from a positive electrode flows in the second container, and water discharged from the first storage reservoir is stored in the second storage reservoir.

A humidification device includes a humidification section that humidifies taken-in air and a cover that covers the humidification section. A space is provided between the humidification section and the cover. A supply port for sending out humidified air humidified by the humidification section is further provided. The space communicates with the supply port, and the humidified air flows through the space, thereby utilizing air in the space as a heat insulation layer.

A fluid control valve includes a shaft member configured to move along an axis by drive force from a drive source, and a holding member including a cylindrical portion in which a second end portion of the shaft member is placed by insertion with a predetermined clearance provided in a radial direction. The holding member includes a valve element and a seal member. The fluid control valve includes a housing including an inlet port, an outlet port and a valve seat. The cylindrical portion includes a protrusion protruding radially inward. The second end portion of the shaft member includes a first region including a first contact portion configured to be in contact with a bottom portion of the cylindrical portion. The second end portion of the shaft member includes a second region including a second contact portion being in contact with the protrusion.

A fuel cell component includes a fuel cell component body having a surface, and an identification information display portion provided on the fuel cell component body. Fuel cell separator

A fuel cell includes a plurality of laminated gas chambers, a plurality of separators that separate the gas chambers, intake passages for supplying fuel gas and oxidizing gas, exhaust passages for emitting the fuel gas and the oxidizing gas, intake ports to supply fuel gas and oxidizing gas from the intake passages to the gas chambers, exit ports to exit the fuel gas and the oxidizing gas from the gas chambers to the exhaust passages, and rectifying plates located at one end of the intake ports and extending across at least one of the gas intake passages. Each of the rectifying plates effectively restricts direct gas flow from one of the intake passages to the intake ports. Therefore, the number of gas chambers can be increased as compared to conventional fuel cells. Even though the number of gas chambers is increased, each gas chamber uniformly receives gas due to the excellent gas distribution achieved by the rectifying plates.

Gas passages of a gas-passage plate disposed between fuel cells are improved, in order to enhance gas utilization efficiency and output performance. The supply-gas passages formed on the gas-passage plate on a surface to face one gaseous diffusion electrode comprise an inlet-side channel part, an outlet-side channel part, and an intermediate channel part which connects the inlet-side channel part and the outlet-side channel part. The inlet-side channel part and the outlet-side channel part are lattice-shaped passages. The intermediate channel part has the shape of being folded plural times, and comprises groups of a plurality of straight independent passages, and lattice-shaped passages formed at portions returning from one independent-passages group to the next independent-passages group.
