To provide a new balloon catheter enabling formation of, with high dimensional accuracy and excellent shape adaptability with respect to a balloon, an additional structure such as a blade and a reinforcement member to be additionally provided to the balloon. In this balloon catheterprovided with an expandable/contractible balloonon the distal end side of a catheter, an additional structurehaving a prescribed pattern is formed through electroforming or the like directly onto an inner circumferential surfaceand/or an outer circumferential surfaceof the balloon

Method of manufacturing a balloon catheter

Electrocardiograph device

Provided is a guide wire having a novel structure, with which it is possible to improve production efficiency and to effectively prevent large irregularities from forming on an outer circumferential surface of a core wire. Further provided is a guide wire having a novel structure, with which it is possible to more meticulously set bending rigidity to a distal end portion thereof. In a guide wire having a coil externally mounted about a distal end portion of a core wire, a proximal end portion of the coil is integrally joined to the core wire during formation of the coil. Furthermore, in a guide wire having a coil externally mounted about a distal end portion of a core wire, a cross-sectional shape of a wire that constitutes the coil varies in a lengthwise direction of the coil.

Guide wire

A stent () configured to be placed in a body lumen and having a tubular shape formed by a structure that is expandable and contractible skeleton () in a radial direction, the skeleton () having a heteromorphic structure due to changes of a cross section shape thereof in a thickness direction. A stent () that is expandable and contractible in the radial direction while being configured to be placed in a body lumen, the stent () having a heteromorphic tubular shape, a cross section shape of which changes in a lengthwise direction, and having a metal skeleton () formed by at least one of electroforming and etching.

Stent

An indwelling needle assembly and protector. The indwelling needle assembly has an inner needle, an inner needle hub, an outer needle, an outer needle hub, and a protector for protecting the needle point of the inner needle arranged on the outer periphery of the inner needle so as to be slidable in the axial direction. The protector includes a protecting member in which the needle point of the inner needle is stored and a closing member arranged on the outer periphery of the protecting member so as to be capable of sliding, a displaceable side wall which is capable of being displaced inward so as to close a distal opening of the protecting member, the displaceable side wall being displaced inwardly by the closing member arranged on the outer periphery of the distal end portion of the protecting member.

Indwelling needle assembly and protector

A liquid medicine self-administration device including a flexible reservoir, an operating member, a pushing member to move with respect to the operating member and to induce pressure deformation of the reservoir, and engaging means engages the operating member. With the operating member engaged by the engaging means, the pushing member is relatively moved to the operating member based on restoring force of a spring member to push the reservoir by the pushing member. By disengaging means moving in unison with the pushing member, the engaging means is released from an engaged state with respect to the operating member, when the pushing member has moved to a predetermined location while pushing the reservoir.

Self-administration device for liquid medicine

A medical connector of improved configuration. Annular grooves are formed in both inner and outer surfaces of an outer peripheral portion of an elastic valve element to form an annular constricted section. An outer peripheral side from the constricted section is made to serve as an annular fixation section. A valve receiving seat is formed at an inner peripheral edge of an aperture portion in a housing, and an annular ring is fixed to the aperture portion to sandwich and support the annular fixation section between the valve receiving seat and the annular ring. Engaging projections formed on mutually facing surfaces of the valve receiving seat and the annular ring are engaged with the annular grooves, and either the engaging projection and/or the engaging projection is divided in a circumferential direction to have a plurality of projection-divisions.

Indwelling needle with wings

An indwelling catheter comprises a tube, a female connector and an elastically deformable hemostasis valve which can be pressed by a male connector. An opening taper portion tapered forwardly is formed in a longitudinal intermediate portion of an inner circumferential surface of the female connector. The elastically deformable hemostasis valve is provided longitudinally slidably in the opening taper portion of the female connector and an inside portion extending rearwardly from the opening taper portion. The hemostasis valve includes; a body having a hollow form opened at its front and rear ends or a tubular portion fitted over the connecting portion from a rearward direction; and an openable/closable portion being opened by elastic deformation of the body or the tubular portion.

Indwelling catheter

A multi lumen catheter including an inner tube having a front tip, an outer tube, a tube or lumen for inserting a guide wire, a blood extraction lumen and a blood return lumen which are formed in the outer tube and inner tube, respectively, or both in the outer tube, wherein the inner tube is inserted in the outer tube, and allowed to slide relative thereto, and the front tip is jointed to the front end of the outer tube to shut off communication of the lumens with the exterior. A multi-lumen catheter with balloon includes a balloon provided on a tabular body at a front end thereof, a blood return port and a blood extraction port provided in the tubular body on opposite sides of the balloon, and an outer cylinder slidable on the tubular body to close the blood extraction and blood return ports and the balloon.

A medical valve includes: (a) a housing having a hollow body opened at the top end, wherein the tip of a male luer is to be removably inserted in the housing; (b) a spike disposed to extend longitudinally in the housing, the spike except at least the top end portion being formed in an approximately tapered shape in which its outside diameter becomes progressively smaller toward the top end portion, wherein a fluid transferring passage, which is opened radially outwardly, is formed to extend longitudinally in the spike; and (c) an elastic seal having an elastically deformable tubular shape fitted on the spike to seal the spike, the elastic seal including a top end portion having an openable/closable portion to be openably closed over the spike, wherein the elastic seal is elastically deformed to be downwardly shrunk by downward pressure due to the tip of the male luer.

Medical valve

A guide wire, which has excellent follow-up characteristics, sufficients contrasting characteristics and flexibility at a distal end portion thereof and high elasticity at a proximal end portion thereof, includes a core wire, and a coil wire provided on the distal end portion of this core wire coaxially therewith. The coil wire is formed by winding a plurality of wires, which are formed of different constituent materials and placed side by side on a plane, uniformly in an axial direction of the core wire so that the wires are adjacent to each other on the same plane.

An indwelling needle of the present invention comprises a flexible cover needle, a fixing wing externally fitted and fixed on a distal end of the cover needle, a cover needle hub mounted on a proximal end of the cover needle, an inner needle which is removably inserted through the cover needle and the cover needle hub and the distal end of which projects forwards from the cover needle, and a protecting tube for preventing kink of the cover needle which is externally fitted between the fixing wing and the cover needle hub on the cover needle.
