A shock absorber includes: a cylinder accommodating a fluid; a piston that reciprocates with respect to the cylinder while partitioning an inside of the cylinder into a first fluid chamber and a second fluid chamber; a pump having a first port that communicates with either one of the first fluid chamber and the second fluid chamber and a second port that communicates with the other one of the first fluid chamber and the second fluid chamber, and including a flow rate change portion that changes a circulation amount of the fluid circulating between the first port and the second port; an electric rotor rotating in conjunction with the pump; and a stator forming a magnetic field between the electric rotor and the stator.

A fluid pump includes: three or more volume chambers that suction and discharge a fluid sequentially; moving elements that are respectively provided in the volume chambers, move relative to the volume chamber, and suction and discharge the fluid from and to the volume chamber; a cam that abuts against and drives the moving elements; and a driving section that drives at least one of the moving elements and the cam and relatively rotates the moving elements and the cam to discharge the fluid one time from each of the volume chambers in one cycle of the relative rotation, in which, when suctioning and discharging the fluid, regarding a discharge rotation angle &#x3b1;, &#x3b1;=(Z/M)&#xd7;N is satisfied, where the number of volume chambers is M and any integer from 2 to (M&#x2212;1) is N.

Fluid pump with cam geometry to reduce pulsations

A parking brake actuator generates and applies a braking force to a vehicle wheel by converting a rotation movement of a screw member which is rotated by an electric parking brake driving device into a translatory movement and transmitting the converted translatory movement to a piston to push a brake pad to a disc by the piston. The electric parking brake driving device includes an electric motor and a reduction gear mechanism which transmits the driving force of the electric motor to the electric parking brake driving device. The reduction gear mechanism includes a pinion gear fixed to an output shaft of the electric motor, a first gear shaft rotatably supported on a first bearing member provided on a gear body and a first wheel gear formed on the first gear shaft and engaging the first wheel gear to thereby reduce the speed of driving force of the electric motor.

Electric parking brake driving device and electric parking brake device

A first communication passage is coupled to a left wheel cylinder pressure chamber at an upper vehicle side and a right wheel cylinder pressure chamber at a lower vehicle side to be communicated with each other, and a second communication passage is coupled to a left wheel cylinder pressure chamber at the lower vehicle side and a right wheel cylinder pressure chamber at the upper vehicle side to be communicated with each other. Between the first and second communication passages is a valve mechanism so that the first and second communication passages are normally communicated with each other, and fluid flow from one of the first communication passage and the second communication passage to the other is blocked, when a pressure difference, caused when fluid moves from one of the first communication passage and the second communication passage to the other, becomes equal to or greater than a predetermined value.

A vehicle suspension device includes a first fluid path through which a first upper port opening into a first hydraulic cylinder and a second lower port opening into a second hydraulic cylinder communicate with each other, a second fluid path through which a second upper port opening into the second hydraulic cylinder and a first lower port opening into the first hydraulic cylinder communicate with each other, a first hydraulic damping mechanism in the first fluid path, a second hydraulic damping mechanism in the second fluid path, a first accumulator connected to the first fluid path via a first branch fluid path having a first auxiliary hydraulic damping mechanism, a second accumulator connected to the second fluid path via a second branch fluid path having a second auxiliary hydraulic damping mechanism, and a bridge fluid path through which the first and second branch fluid paths are connected together.
