An assisting tool is provided for making a tufted ornament having a bunch of threads. The assisting tool includes a first frame and a second frame that form a generally rectangular shape when assembled. The first and second frames have first and second thread hanging portions, respectively, that are spaced apart from each other in a first direction. Each thread hanging portion extends in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. The assisting tool further includes a length adjuster for adjustably varying the length in the first direction from the first thread hanging portion to the second thread hanging portion by allowing the first and second frames to slide toward or away from each other.

Assisting tool for making ornament

A pincushion includes an inner container, a cushioning material, a flexible sheet material, an elastic ring member and a cylindrical outer cover. The inner container has a bottom wall portion and a side wall portion standing upright from the bottom wall portion. The side wall portion has an opening at its upper part. The cushioning material is provided in the inner container. The sheet material covers part of the cushioning material that projects upward from the opening of the side wall portion. The ring member is fitted onto the side wall portion of the inner container with the hem of the sheet material interposed between the ring member and the side wall portion. The outer cover is fitted around the side wall portion of the inner container such that its inner face is in contact with the elastic ring member.

Pincushion

A handicraft weaving loom with improved usability is provided. The weaving loom includes a main body having a pair of edge portions that are spaced apart from each other in a predetermined first direction. Each edge portion extends elongated in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. The weaving loom further includes a yarn catch member provided with a yarn catch portion for holding threads in parallel. The yarn catch member is detachably attached to one of the two edge portions.

A bias tape maker includes an outer shell including a tape entering port and a tape exiting port for introduction and exit of a main tape, respectively, and an inner core fitted in the outer shell for defining a main tape passage between the outer shell and the inner core. The main tape passage has a tape folding portion for folding longitudinal margins of the main tape toward each other. The outer shell is provided with an auxiliary tape entry window adjacent the tape exiting port for introducing an auxiliary tape into the tape folding portion of the main tape passage.

A loop turner is used for turning a loop member inside out. The loop turner includes a bar body having a front end and a rear end. The bar body is provided with a clip segment for coming into removable engagement with the open mouth edge of the loop member, and a string holding cutout for removably holding a reinforcing string which is inserted through the loop member simultaneously while the loop member is turned inside out.
