An adhesive composition contains an acid anhydride group-containing oil or fat (A) and a curing agent (B) having a reactive group reactive with an acid anhydride group. A laminate is obtained by placing an adhesive layer between a first substrate and a second substrate, and the adhesive layer includes the aforementioned adhesive composition. A package is obtained by forming a bag from a laminate obtained by placing an adhesive layer between a first substrate and a second substrate, and the adhesive layer includes the aforementioned adhesive composition.

Oxygen concentration apparatus

The apparatus includes a cylinder for containing a pressurized therapeutic oxygen gas, a nasal cannula, adapted to be introduced into a nasal passage of a patient, and a conduit extending between the cylinder and the nasal cannula for directing the therapeutic oxygen gas to the nasal cannula from the cylinder. A pressure sensor is provided on the conduit for detecting the pressure in the conduit. A valve is provided, in the conduit, which allows and blocks the fluid communication between the cylinder and the nasal cannula. A controller controls the operation of the valve in synchronization with the respiration of a patient, based on the changes in the pressure detected by the pressure sensor. The volume of the oxygen therapeutic gas passing through the valve for each respiration is increased, compared with a normal respiration condition, when the respiratory frequency increases.

Apparatus for supplying a therapeutic oxygen gas

The invention provides an apparatus for supplying a respiratory gas to a respiratory air way of a patient. The respiratory gas supplying apparatus includes a cylinder filled with a respiratory gas, a cart having an accommodating portion for disposing the cylinder , a shut-off valve attached to the cylinder , a flow regulating valve attached to the shut-off valve , a conduit , attached to the flow regulating valve , for directing the respiratory gas to the inlet of the respiratory airway of the patient, a coupler , integrally connected to the flow regulator , for coupling the flow regulating valve to the shut-off is valve , and a linkage for disengaging the coupler from the shut-off valve IS when the cylinder is detached from the cart

Respiratory gas supplying apparatus

The present invention provides a sealing arrangement between a flow regulator and a shut-off valve attached to an oxygen cylinder. The shut-off valve includes a casing which is adapted to be mounted to an oxygen cylinder containing oxygen gas or an oxygen enhanced gas, a side wall defining a part of the casing. A female outlet port is defined in the side wall of the casing. The flow regulator includes a metallic cylindrical body which has first and second end faces. A yoke extends from the first end face of the cylindrical body. A screw bolt, which has an end facing the first end face of the cylindrical body, operates with the yoke to clamp the casing of the shut-off valve between the first end face of the cylindrical body and the end of the screw bolt. A male inlet port extends from the first end face of the cylindrical body into the female outlet port of the shut-off valve to receive the oxygen gas or the oxygen enhanced gas. An o-ring is provided around the inlet port of the flow regulator so that the o-ring is clamped between the first end face of the cylindrical body of the flow regulator and the casing of the shut-off valve when the flow regulator is secured to the shut-off valve. The sealing member is made of an electrically conductive rubber material.
