A connecting apparatus comprising a holding member and a conductive member. The holding member has holding portions. The conductive member has a plurality of held portions, a plurality of contact portions, a plurality of extending portions and a plurality of coupling portions. Each of the extending portions extends rearward in a front-rear direction from one of the held portions and protrudes rearward in the front-rear direction beyond the holding portion. The extending portions are positioned apart from each other in a right-left direction. The coupling portions are positioned apart from each other in the right-left direction. The coupling portions are positioned rearward of the extending portions in the front-rear direction. Each of the coupling portions couples two of the extending portions with each other. Two of the held portions, which are adjacent to each other in the right-left direction, are coupled with the two extending portions, respectively.

Connecting apparatus

A first housing of a first connector is provided with a second guided portion, and a second housing of a second connector is provided with a second guiding portion. The second guided portion and the second guiding portion regulate upward movement of the first connector with respect to the second connector in the up-down direction between a preliminary mated state and a final mated state and in the final mated state. The second housing further has a movable member with a regulating portion. When the movable member is positioned at a locked position, the regulating portion regulates rearward movement of the first housing with respect to the second housing.

Connector assembly and connector

A first housing of a first connector has a first end wall which is located downward of a first accommodation portion in an up-down direction. When viewed from beneath along the up-down direction, the first end wall hides, in part, a first contact located in the first accommodation portion. A second housing has a second end wall which is located upward of a second accommodation portion in the up-down direction. When viewed from above along the up-down direction, the second end wall hides a second contact located in the second accommodation portion. The first end wall prevents a finger of an operator from coming into contact with the first contact, and the second end wall prevents the finger of the operator from coming into contact with the second contact.

A connector () has: a terminal (); a base insulator () having a holding hole (); and a front insulator () having a passage hole (). The terminal () has: a cylindrical section (); a lance () extending from the cylindrical section (); and a stopper () projecting from the cylindrical section (). The terminal () is retained by the holding hole (). A retaining portion () inside the holding hole () is positioned between the lance () of the terminal () and the stopper (). A gap is formed between an inner wall () of the holding hole () and the cylindrical section () of the terminal (). The front insulator () is attached to the base insulator (). The passage hole () is positioned in front of the holding hole (). The passage hole () is smaller than the cylindrical section () of the terminal ().

A connector is provided with terminals, stoppers, and a socket insulator. The stoppers are attached to the respective terminals and are housed together with the terminals in the housing parts of the socket insulator. The stoppers are provided with parts to be locked, and lock spring parts that support the parts to be locked. Locking parts and operation parts are formed on the socket insulator. When the stoppers are housed in the housing parts, the locking parts are located rearward of the parts to be locked, and the locking parts restrict rearward movement of the stoppers. The operation parts can be operated in a prescribed direction that intersects the longitudinal direction. When operated, the operation parts cause the parts to be locked to move in the prescribed direction, and the restriction applied by the locking parts to the parts to be locked in released.

Connector with contact removably attached to an insulator

A connector comprises a first receiving portion formed with a first opening, a second receiving portion formed with a second opening, a first contact portion located inside the first receiving portion and a second contact portion located inside the second receiving portion. The first opening is visible both when the connector is seen along a first orientation and when the connector is seen along a third orientation perpendicular to the first orientation. The second opening is visible both when the connector is seen along a second orientation opposite to the first orientation and when the connector is seen along the third orientation. The first contact portion is in contact with a first busbar which is received in the first receiving portion through the first opening. The second contact portion is in contact with a second busbar which is received in the second receiving portion through the second opening.

A connector is mateable with a mating connector along a front-rear direction. The mating connector has a mating lock portion. The connector comprises a housing and a contact. The housing has an upper wall and a lower wall. The housing forms a receiving portion. The receiving portion receives the mating connector when the connector and the mating connector are mated with each other. The contact is held by the housing. The contact protrudes in the receiving portion. The receiving portion is positioned between the upper wall and the lower wall in an up-down direction perpendicular to the front-rear direction. An inner surface of the upper wall is provided with a lock portion and a protrusion portion. When the connector and the mating connector are mated with each other, the lock portion locks the mating lock portion to lock a mating of the connector with the mating connector. The protrusion portion protrudes downward in the up-down direction.

Power storage device

A contact comprises a pair of conductive members and a biasing member attached between the pair of conductive members and biasing the pair of conductive members toward each other. The pair of conductive members each have a base portion and an attaching portion. The base portion of one of the conductive members and the base portion of the other conductive member are disposed spaced apart from each other. At least one of the pair of conductive members has a support portion extending from the base portion toward the other conductive member and abutting against the other conductive member to support the other conductive member.

A connector whose terminal portions of contacts can be reliably inserted into through holes of a circuit board. The connector comprises a housing, contacts, and an alignment member. Each contact includes a holding portion held by the housing, a terminal portion inserted into a circuit board, and a linking portion connecting the holding and terminal portions. The alignment member is mounted on the contacts and positions the terminal portions. The contacts are arranged in a longitudinal direction of the connector, and in two rows in a vertical direction thereof. Each pair of adjacent contacts in the longitudinal direction are connected by a connecting portion, to form first and second combination contacts. The alignment member has receiving portions receiving the linking portions, open portions from which the connecting portions are exposed, and grooves preventing a relative movement of the connecting portions in the vertical direction.

A cable connectorincludes a cover insulator adapted to clamp a cable. The cable has an end portion bent by a bending angle &#x3b1;. The cover insulator is coupled to a base insulator. The base insulator holds a terminal having an end portion bent by a bending angle &#x3b2;. Herein, the angles &#x3b1; and &#x3b2; satisfy the relationship given by &#x3b2;&#x3c;&#x3c0;&#x2212;&#x3b1; (rad) so that the end portion of the cable is pressed by the end portion of the terminal.
