An electrostatic transducer that enables improvement of detection accuracy or driving precision while allowing flexibility is provided. The electrostatic transducer () is provided with: an insulator sheet (); at least one electrode sheet () which is laminated on the insulator sheet (), constitutes a target region to be used as a detection region or a driving region, is formed of an elastomer comprising a conductive filler, and includes at least one terminal part (); and at least one bypass conductor () which has an electrical resistivity less than that of the electrode sheet (), is disposed in contact with the electrode sheet () along the surface of a part of the electrode sheet (), and is electrically connected to the electrode sheet () in the area in contact with the electrode sheet ().

Electrostatic transducer and electrostatic transducer unit

An electrostatic transducer () includes: an insulator sheet (); a first electrode sheet (); a lead (); a first bonding part (), electrically bonding the first electrode sheet () with a core wire () of the lead () in a first area (Pa) where the first electrode sheet () and the core wire () of the lead () are disposed overlapping each other; and a second bonding part (), bonding the insulator sheet () with a coating () of the lead () in a second area (Pb) where the insulator sheet () and the coating () of the lead () are disposed overlapping each other.

Electrostatic transducer

Provided is an electrostatic transducer capable of reducing thickness and enhancing detection precision or operation precision. An electrostatic transducer () includes an insulating sheet (), a first electrode sheet () arranged on the front surface side of the insulating sheet () and having a plurality of first through holes () penetrating in a thickness direction, and a second electrode sheet () arranged on the back surface side of the insulating sheet () and having no through holes in the thickness direction or having a plurality of second through holes () which have a smaller aperture ratio than the plurality of first through holes ().

An electrostatic-type transducer () includes: an insulator sheet () formed of an elastomer; a plurality of first electrode sheets () which is arranged on a front surface side of the insulator sheet (), adhered to the insulator sheet () by fusion of the insulator sheet (), and arranged with a distance from each other in the surface direction of the insulator sheet (); and one second electrode sheet () which is disposed on the back surface side of the insulator sheet () and adhered to the insulator sheet () by fusion of the insulator sheet (), and in which portions facing the plurality of first electrode sheets () and portions facing each region between the adjacent first electrode sheets () in the surface direction are formed integrally.

Electrostatic-type transducer and manufacturing method thereof

Provided is a transducer that can be manufactured without using a volatile adhesive or an organic solvent. A transducer is provided with: a first electrode sheet provided with a plurality of first through-holes; a dielectric layer, of which a first surface is disposed on the first-electrode-sheet side; and a first fusion-bonding layer formed from a fusion-bonding material, the first fusion-bonding layer joining together, by fusion bonding of the fusion-bonding material, a boundary region between a body portion of the dielectric layer and a first inner surface of the first electrode sheet and a boundary region between the body portion of the dielectric layer and a first inner circumferential surface of at least some of the plurality of first through-holes.

Transducer and method for manufacturing same

A transducer in which electrical connections between electrode sheets and leading wires can be secured via an approach other than soldering or welding is provided. In a sheet body portion, a dielectric layer and a first electrode sheet are joined by a first main fusion layer formed of a fusion material. A first conductive portion of a first leading wire is fixed to the sheet body portion by a first clamp. The first clamp includes a plurality of first leg portions that penetrates the sheet body portion in a thickness direction, a first coupling portion that couples the proximal ends of the plurality of first leg portions and is disposed across the first conductive portion, and a plurality of first bent-back portions that is formed by bending the respective distal ends of the plurality of first leg portions and is locked with a second surface of the sheet body portion.

Transducer and manufacturing method thereof

A vibration presentation device includes: an electrostatic or piezoelectric actuator; a first elastic body laminated on the actuator; a second elastic body laminated on the actuator on the opposite side to the first elastic body; an electrostatic or piezoelectric sensor disposed around the actuator; a cover that holds the first elastic body and the second elastic body such that the first elastic body and the second elastic body are compressed more than the actuator, the cover transmitting, when a pressing force in the laminate direction is applied to the cover from the outside, the pressing force to a sensor, and vibrating by vibration generated by the actuator; and a control device that drives the actuator when the sensor detects the pressing force.

Vibration presentation device

To provide a tactile vibration applying device that efficiently outputs vibrations using an electrostatic or piezoelectric actuator. The tactile vibration applying device includes the electrostatic or piezoelectric actuator formed in a flat shape, and expanding and contracting in a thickness direction, a first elastic body having an elastic modulus smaller than an elastic modulus of the actuator in the thickness direction and disposed to contact a surface of the actuator on a side of the first electrode, and a first cover covering a surface of the first elastic body opposite to a surface of the first elastic body contacting the actuator, pressing the actuator and the first elastic body in the thickness direction of the actuator, and holding the first elastic body in a state that the first elastic body is compressed more than the actuator.

Tactile vibration applying device

Provided is an electrostatic transducer () in which an electrostatic unit () is formed so as to be flat and wound into a roll, from a first laminate sheet () and a second laminate sheet (). The first laminate sheet () is provided with a first electrode sheet () and two first dielectric sheets () laminated onto both surfaces of the first electrode sheet (). The second laminate sheet () is provided with a second electrode sheet () and two second dielectric sheets () laminated onto both surfaces of the second electrode sheet ().

Electrostatic transducer and method for manufacturing same

Provided is a conveying apparatus having simple mechanical and electrical configurations. The conveying apparatus includes: a conveying member that has a dielectric layer having insulating properties and made of an elastomer and a pair of electrode layers placed on both front and back sides of the dielectric layer and having conductive properties, and that is divided into a base portion and a conveying portion being more easily elastically deformed than the base portion and having on its surface a conveying path on which an object to be transported is transported; and a power supply unit that applies between the pair of electrode layers a voltage that changes periodically with time. The conveying portion is elastically extended and contracted with the base portion as a starting point according to a change in the voltage, so that the conveying apparatus transports the object on the conveying path.

Conveying apparatus

A speaker includes: a pair of front-side and back-side vibration portions each having a dielectric layer having insulating properties and made of an elastomer or resin, a front-side electrode layer placed on a front side of the dielectric layer and having conductive properties, and a back-side electrode layer placed on a back side of the dielectric layer and having conductive properties; an interposed member placed between the pair of vibration portions so that the front-side vibration portion protrudes toward a front side and the back-side vibration portion protrudes toward a back side; and a circuit section that transmits signal waves based on sound to be reproduced to the pair of vibration portions so that the signal waves transmitted to the pair of vibration portions have opposite phases to each other, and drives the pair of vibration portions.

Speaker

A polymer speaker is configured to include an electrostrictive element having an elastomer or resin dielectric layer and a plurality of electrode layers arranged on the front and back surfaces of the dielectric layer. The electrode layers are formed from a conductive material including a polymer binder and a conductor and having a modulus of elasticity of 100 MPa or less. The spring constant of the electrode layers in the surface direction is smaller than the spring constant of the dielectric layer in the surface direction. The volume resistivity of the electrode layers is 200 &#x3a9;&#xb7;cm or less. The polymer speaker provides a practical sound pressure in a wide frequency region from low frequencies to high frequencies.
