A vibration-damping device includes: a damper mass having a housing member with an accommodation space, an independent mass member housed within the accommodation space with a slight spacing therebetween so that the independent mass member is independent of the housing member and is freely displaceable within the accommodation space of the housing member to come into impact on the housing member via an elastic member; and a metallic spring member to be fixed at a plurality of fixing portions thereof on the vibrative member for elastically supporting the damping mass vibrative member, such that the housing member of the damper mass is fixed to a portion of the metallic spring member through which a principal elastic axis of the metallic spring member extends, and that a center of gravity of the damper mass is located on the principal elastic axis of the metallic spring member.

Vibration damping device

A fluid-filled vibration-damping device includes an elastic body elastically connecting a first and a second mounting member so as to close one open-end portion of the second mounting member, and a partition member assembled with the second mounting member on one side thereof to form therebetween a pressure-receiving chamber partially defined by the elastic body and assembled with a fixing member on the other side thereof to form an equilibrium chamber partially defined by a flexible layer supported by one pen-end portion of the fixing member. The partition member includes a first and second fixing grooves axially spaced apart from each other with an intermediate portion therebetween, to which the other open-end portions of the second mounting and fixing members are respectively press-fitted, and an air passage for connecting a working air chamber to an external air conduit is open in the intermediate portion.

Fluid-filled vibration damping device

A fluid-filled elastic mount including an elastic body elastically connecting first and second mounting members and partially defining a pressure-receiving chamber filled with a fluid, a flexible diaphragm partially defining an equilibrium chamber filled with the fluid and displaceable to permit a volume change of the equilibrium chamber, a first orifice passage for fluid communication between the two chambers, a movable member disposed between the two chambers and displaceable or deformable to permit relative volume changes of the two chambers, a second and a third orifice passage formed between the movable member and one of the two chambers for permitting the fluid to flow therethrough based on displacement or deformation of the movable member. The second orifice passage is tuned to a frequency range higher than that of the first orifice passage while the third orifice passage is tuned to a frequency range higher than that of the second orifice passage, and a control device for permitting or inhibiting fluid flows through the third orifice passage.
