A low-temperature storage of the invention has N refrigeration units that may be used for independently refrigerating N chambers, and a controller having N sets of temperature region setting means and corresponding N temperature settling means usable for N refrigeration chambers. Each of said temperature region setting means comprises a plurality of temperature control switches which may assume a combination of ON and/or OFF states for establishing a desired temperature region in an associated chamber. Furthermore, within respective temperature regions, desirable temperatures may be preset by associated temperature setting means. When the number chambers available is less than N, said controller may be used for controlling an arbitrary number of refrigeration chambers in a desired combination of modes by setting non-used set of said temperature setting means in prohibited mode.

Low-temperature storage

An apparatus for preparing ice creams, wherein a freezing cylinder is constituted such that a liquid mix supplied from a mix tank is stirred in a stirring apparatus that is installed in the inside of the freezing cylinder, and refrigerated so as to complete ice creams, any amount of which can be dispensed through a dispensing port. For the cleaning and sterilization of the inside of the cylinder, the inside is heated by reversing the flow of heat media which are to be circulated through the refrigerating part of the cylinder to dissolve and automatically withdraw the ice creams in the cylinder, then cleaned several times by supplying and discharging hot water, to and from the inside, and after that sterilized by supplying hot water to the inside, and discharging the water from it.

Apparatus for preparing ice creams

A system for controlling the flow rate of a refrigerant for refrigeration cycles which comprises an electronic expansion valve disposed at the inlet of an evaporator and a controller for controlling the opening-closing movement of the valve. The controller comprises a calculating unit for comparing the degree of superheat of the refrigerant measured at the evaporator with a preset degree of superheat and feeding a valve opening adjusting signal to the valve according to the value obtained by the comparison, and a valve full-closing signal generator for comparing the measured temperature of the space to be cooled with a preset temperature and feeding a valve full-closing signal to the valve based on the value obtained from the comparison of temperatures, in preference to the opening adjusting signal.

System for controlling flow rate of refrigerant

A system for controlling the flow rate of a refrigerant for refrigeration cycles which comprises a electronic expansion valve disposed at the inlet of an evaporator and a controller for controlling the opening-closing movement of the valve. The controller comprises a calculating unit for comparing the degree of superheat of the refrigerant measured at the evaporator with a preset degree of superheat and feeding a valve opening adjusting signal to the valve according to the value obtained by the comparison, and a valve full-closing signal generator for comparing the measured temperature of the space to be cooled with a preset temperature and feeding a valve full-closing signal to the valve based on the value obtained from the comparison of temperatures, in preference to the opening adjusting signal.
