The present invention provides a method for analyzing answers to questions in an electronic document. The method comprises reading, into a memory, the user's answers to the questions and a user's answer history information from the user's answers, wherein the user's answer history information is collected at the time the questions are answered. The method further comprises inputting, into a machine learning model, the user's answers to the questions and the user's answer history information from the user's answers to output an analysis result, wherein the machine learning model is trained, in advance, using one or more sets of training data, each set of training data comprising one or more answers to one or more questions and answer history information from the one or more answers, and a correct result which is obtained by manually judging the one or more answers to the one or more questions.

A technique of operating a system is provided that processes data with one or more data processing modules provided in parallel. A synchronization token is input into at least one data processing module that is in an operational state from the one or more data processing modules provided in parallel, in response to a request to change allocation of the data. The allocation of the data is changed to the one or more data processing modules provided in parallel, after the synchronization token is input. In response to the synchronization token having arrived at a data processing module at a later stage, the at least one data processing module, that stopped the processing, starts processing data after the synchronization token is input to the at least one data processing module.

A tape drive receives multiple write requests for data pieces and a synchronization request corresponding to the write requests from a device, performs a synchronization process, and returns a completion status of the synchronization request. The tape drive includes a write controller that stores data pieces transferred from the device in the buffer, according to a first write request, receives a first synchronization request and then a subsequent write request for at least one data piece, and returns the completion status when processing for the first synchronization request is completed and the subsequent write request is received with a command queuing function.

A magnetic tape drive having a tape drive system for moving magnetic tape, tape read/write and servo system, tape cartridge load/unload systems, I/O communications, memory; and a control system, operates in three modes to conserve energy consumption. A first low power mode powers the I/O communications, the memory, and the control system. If a magnetic tape cartridge is in loaded position in the magnetic tape drive, the second low power mode powers the same as the first low power mode, and additionally powers the tape drive system to apply tension to a magnetic tape of the magnetic tape cartridge. In the first and the second low power modes, the control system operates the I/O communications, the memory and the control system to respond to and execute commands received at the I/O communications if the commands are executable without magnetic tape access. The third, full power mode, is entered if a command received at the I/O communications requires magnetic tape access.
