A composition for infrared-absorbing layers according to the present invention includes: a compound formed by copper ion and a phosphonic acid represented by the following formula (a); and at least one of a phosphoric acid diester represented by the following formula (b1) and a phosphoric acid monoester represented by the following formula (b2). In the composition, fine particles containing at least the compound are dispersed. A content of the phosphonic acid is less than 2.5 times a total content of the phosphoric acid diester and the phosphoric acid monoester on a molar basis. Ris an alkyl group with 2 to 4 carbon atoms, R, R, and Rare each a monovalent functional group represented by —(CHCHO)Rwherein n is an integer of 1 to 25 and Ris an alkyl group with 6 to 25 carbon atoms.

Infrared-cut filter

An optical filterhas a first transmission spectrum satisfying the following requirements (i), (ii), (iii), and (iv) at 25° C. (i) A minimum of a transmittance in a wavelength range of 450 nm to 600 nm is 70% or more. (ii) A maximum of the transmittance in a wavelength range of 300 nm to 370 nm is 5% or less. (iii) A maximum of the transmittance in a wavelength range of 800 nm to 1000 nm is 5% or less. (iv) A minimum of the transmittance in a wavelength range of 1500 nm to 1700 nm is 60% or more.

Optical filter, optical device, and light-absorbing composition

A light-absorbing composition according to the present invention includes: a light absorber; a curable resin; and an alkoxysilane. The alkoxysilane includes a dialkoxysilane. Since the alkoxysilane of the light-absorbing composition includes the dialkoxysilane, desired flexibility is likely to be imparted to a light-absorbing layer owing to an organic functional group of the dialkoxysilane while a strong skeleton having a siloxane bond is formed in the light-absorbing layer.

Light-absorbing composition and optical filter

The light-absorbing composition according to the present invention includes: a light absorber made of a phosphonic acid represented by the following formula (A) and copper ion; and a curable resin. Alight-absorbing film having desired properties can be provided by curing a coating film of the light-absorbing composition. In the formula (A), Rto Rare each independently a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a hydroxy group, or a nitro group, and n represents an integer of 1 to 3.

Light-absorbing composition, light-absorbing film, and optical filter

The liquid composition for optical filters according to the present invention contains: a light absorber; at least one of an alkoxysilane and a hydrolysate of an alkoxysilane; a phosphoric acid ester; and a solvent. The light absorber is formed by a phosphonic acid having an aryl group bonded to a phosphorus atom and copper ion. In the liquid composition, a content of an organic solvent having a relative permittivity of 7 or less at 20° ° C. is 50 mass % or less.

Liquid composition for optical filters and optical filter

An optical filter () includes a light-absorbing layer (). The light-absorbing layer absorbs light in at least a portion of the near-infrared region. When light with a wavelength of 300 nm to 1200 nm is incident on the optical filter () at incident angles of 0&#xb0;, 30&#xb0;, and 40&#xb0;, the optical filter () satisfies given transmittance requirements. IE, IAE, and ISEdefined by the following equations (1) to (3) for two incident angles &#x3b8;1&#xb0; and &#x3b8;2&#xb0; (&#x3b8;1&#x3c;&#x3b8;2) selected from 0&#xb0;, 30&#xb0;, and 40&#xb0; satisfy given requirements in a given domain of a wavelength &#x3bb;.

Optical filter and imaging apparatus

An optical filter () includes a light-absorbing layer (). The light-absorbing layer absorbs light in at least a portion of the near-infrared region. When light with a wavelength of 300 nm to 1200 nm is incident on the optical filter () at incident angles of 0&#xb0;, 30&#xb0;, and 40&#xb0;, the optical filter () satisfies given transmittance requirements. Nine differences each obtained as a difference between one and another of IE, IE, and IEdefined for incident angles &#x3b8;&#xb0; of 0&#xb0;, 30&#xb0;, and 40&#xb0; satisfy given requirements, and ranges satisfy given requirements, each range being a difference obtained by subtracting the smallest value of three differences from the largest value of the three differences, the three differences obtained from IE, IE, and IEcollectively defined for the same pair selected from the incident angles &#x3b8;&#xb0;.

An optical filter () includes a light-absorbing layer (). The light-absorbing layer absorbs light in at least a portion of the near-infrared region. When light with a wavelength of 300 to 1200 nm is incident on the optical filter () at an incident angle of 0&#xb0;, the optical filter () satisfies given requirements. When light with a wavelength of 300 to 1200 nm is incident on the optical filter () at incident angles of 0&#xb0;, 30&#xb0;, 35&#xb0;, and 40&#xb0;, the optical filter () satisfies given requirements related to a normalized spectral transmittance. The normalized spectral transmittance is determined by normalization of a spectral transmittance for each incident angle so that the maximum of the spectral transmittance for each incident angle in the wavelength range of 400 to 650 nm is 100%.

A UV-IR-absorbing composition according to the present invention includes: an absorber formed by a phosphonic acid represented by the following formula (a) and copper ion, the absorber being dispersed in the UV-IR-absorbing composition; a phosphoric acid ester allowing the absorber to be dispersed; a matrix resin; and an alkoxysilane monomer. 

Ultraviolet- and infrared-absorbing composition and ultraviolet- and infrared-absorbing filter

An optical () includes a light-absorbing layer (). The light-absorbing layer absorbs light in at least a portion of the near-infrared region. When light with a wavelength of 300 to 1200 nm is incident on the optical filter () at an incident angle of 0&#xb0;, the optical filter () satisfies given spectral transmittance requirements. When an average of absolute values of differences each between a value of a normalized spectral transmittance for an incident angle x&#xb0; and a value of a normalized spectral transmittance for an incident angle y&#xb0; in the wavelength range of W nm to V nm (W&#x3c;V) is expressed as &#x394;T, the optical filter () satisfies requirements &#x394;T&#x2264;3%, &#x394;T&#x2264;3%, and &#x394;T&#x2264;3%.

Ranges satisfy given requirements, each range being a difference obtained by subtracting the smallest value of IE, IE, and IEdefined for the same two incident angles &#x3b8;&#xb0; and &#x3b8;&#xb0; from the largest value of IE, IE, and IEdefined for the same two incident angles &#x3b8;&#xb0; and &#x3b8;

A light-absorbing composition includes: a light absorber formed by a phosphonic acid represented by the following formula (a) and copper ion, the light absorber being dispersed in the light-absorbing composition; a phosphoric acid ester allowing the light absorber to be dispersed; and a curable resin. When the light-absorbing composition is applied and cured on one principal surface of a transparent dielectric substrate to form a laminate consisting of a light-absorbing layer being a cured product of the light-absorbing composition and the transparent dielectric substrate, the laminate satisfies predetermined requirements. 

The infrared cut filter of the present invention includes an organic dye-containing layer and a copper phosphonate-containing layer containing fine particles of copper phosphonate. The organic dye-containing layer contains an organic dye so as to have a spectral transmittance that decreases from 70% or more to 50% or less with increasing wavelength in a wavelength range between a wavelength 50 nm shorter than a cut-off wavelength of the infrared cut filter and a wavelength 50 nm longer than the cut-off wavelength of the infrared cut filter.

Infrared cut filter, imaging device, and method for producing infrared cut filter

An infrared-absorbing composition according to the present invention includes: an infrared absorber formed by a phosphonic acid represented by the following formula (a) and copper ion; and a phosphoric acid ester allowing the infrared absorber to be dispersed. The phosphoric acid ester includes at least one of a phosphoric acid diester and a phosphoric acid monoester. Ris a phenyl group or a phenyl group in which at least one hydrogen atom is substituted by a halogen atom. When molar contents of the phosphonic acid, the copper ion, and the phosphoric acid ester are respectively defined as Cmol, Cmol, and Cmol and a total molar content of reactive hydroxy groups is defined as Cmol, the relations C/C&#x3c;1 and C/C&#x3e;1.95 are satisfied.
