A terminal block that includes a housing having a resin part; a bus bar integrally including an embedded part embedded in the resin part and a connecting part projecting outward from the resin part; and a seal sealing a gap existing between the embedded part and the resin part, wherein the seal is formed by an adhesive sheet.

Terminal block and method for manufacturing same

A terminal block in which outflow of a sealing portion made of a rubber-based adhesive can be suppressed even when exposed to a heated environment, and the sealing properties can be maintained. The terminal block includes a housing having a resin portion, a bus bar, and the sealing portion. The bus bar integrally includes an embedded portion embedded in the resin portion, and a connecting portion projecting outward from the resin portion. The sealing portion fills a gap between the embedded portion and the resin portion. The sealing portion is made of a rubber-based adhesive. The bus bar includes a base material made of Cu or a Cu alloy, and an Sn-based plated layer made of Sn or an Sn alloy and partially covering a surface of the base material. The base material is exposed at a sealing region in contact with the sealing portion.

Terminal block

An electric wire with a connector in which high adhesiveness can be ensured at both the interface between an insulator and a sealing layer and the interface between a connector housing and the sealing layer, and a wire harness using this electric wire with a connector are provided. The electric wire with a connector includes an insulated electric wire including a conductor and an insulator containing silicone with which the outer circumference of the conductor is coated, a connector terminal connected to a portion of the conductor exposed by stripping a portion of the insulator, a connector housing made of a resin in which an end of the insulated electric wire and a portion of the connector terminal are embedded, and a sealing layer provided between the surface of the insulator and the connector housing covering the outer circumference of the surface of the insulator at the end of the insulated electric wire. The sealing layer is constituted by a sticky adhesive.

Electric wire with connector, and wire harness

A wire harness that includes an electric wire provided with a conductor and an insulator that coats an outer periphery of the conductor, a terminal connected to the conductor at a terminal end of the electric wire, and a molded resin portion that covers an outer periphery of the insulator at the terminal end of the electric wire and an outer periphery of an end portion on the electric wire side of the terminal. A storage modulus E' of the insulator that is measured using a dynamic viscoelasticity measurement device in a tensed mode at a temperature increase rate of 5&#xb0; C./min and a frequency of 10. Hz is 100 MPa or less at 25&#xb0; C. and 1 MPa or more at 250&#xb0; C., and a starting temperature (T) of a rubbery plateau region (G) is 150&#xb0; C. or less.

Wire harness

It is an object of the present invention to ensure a high water-stopping property of a wire harness including a waterproofing connector section that is molded from a resin, by suppressing a variation in the outer size of a seal section of the connector section. The connector section is made from a first synthetic resin that is insert-molded with a part of a terminal fitting of the terminated electric cable used as an insert section. A water-stopping section is made from a second synthetic resin that is insert-molded with a section extending from a part of the terminal fitting to an insulation coating of the terminated electric cable used as an insert section. The seal section is made from the second synthetic resin that is insert-molded with a part of the connector section used as an insert section. The second synthetic resin is softer than the first synthetic resin.

A terminal-provided wire () includes an insulated wire () with an insulation coating () made of polyolefin-based resin, an adhesive layer () formed on a surface of the insulation coating () over the entire circumference and a waterproof resin portion () formed by insert molding. The waterproof resin portion () covers an area from a part of the insulated wire () where the adhesive layer () is formed to a connected part () of a metal terminal () to a core (). The adhesive layer) is made of modified olefin-based resin, which is olefin-based resin modified with a polar group. The waterproof resin portion () is made of aromatic nylon.

Terminal-provided wire

An electric wire with a terminal may include an insulated electric wire that may include an insulating coating of polyolefin based resin, an adhesive layer that may be formed over an entire circumference of a surface of the insulating coating, and a waterproofing resin portion that may be formed by insert molding. The waterproofing resin portion may cover a region between the adhesive layer of the insulated electric wire and a portion where the metal terminal is connected to a core wire. The adhesive layer may include a composition of a copolymer of ethylene and glycidyl methacrylate and a phenol based curing agent. The waterproofing resin portion may include aromatic nylon.
